The new Abul Mogard is worth mentioning too.

Double LP for sale here. Have not seen an alternative color or package.
Abul Mogard and Loscil are sooooo legit.

Thirded, But why isn't this a CSD release? Or is it?

$26 shipped from Sound Of Vinyl. I can definitely live with that.

The sleeve art should just be a tight shot of a television with a remote sticking out of its broken screen as it depicts an image of Walt and the Polar Bear.

The ‘hi-fi’ Lathes that Tyler at Audio Geography cuts actually sound pretty impressive imho, but YES - of course an official pressing (hopefully from the master tapes) will sound better.
There are a handful of places that cut lathes of excellent sound quality. That sounds like a cool package you made.

Noooow I’m hype.
It can't top Akira, but it'll do for a close second.

I checked Juno and didn't see it when stuff went up online. When did you grab it. I've always liked Juno's service and prices.
Same, I didn't even see a "coming soon" page for The Crow on Juno.

Thanks, DJG!
I didn't see that on their site at all before. Is there an RSD section I missed or something?

Anybody have a line on the Hot Rod soundtrack? I missed it at Plaid and BM apparently and I'm not interested in dropping $45 on it. Cheers.

I would assume that too. It also might explain why they used a generic sleeve. I'm just hoping they'll finally repress Creepin On Ah Come Up.
Preach.

Man, I sure hope that one dude was able to call so they could order a copy.

Seriously. I'm stunned by how tough this has been to find.

Oh my god, I will buy that OG Berserk soundtrack without a moment of hesitation. Never thought this would get reissued in any capacity.
No vocal tracks on this. Still, it's a real grail for a lot of people.

Came across this at the thrift store the other day, listening now and it's actually really fun: www.discogs.com/The-Mattson-2-Play-A-Love-Supreme/release/12405769
I have this. It's a cool record. Great thrift store find.

What is a lathe if you dont mind me asking I've never seen that term thrown around before.

I wonder how hard the corrected pressing will be to get for those of us that went the third party route.

This had been out there for several weeks now but, somehow, avoided any major buzz. Not sure why. Great album that is ridiculously hard to find. Awesome to finally see a reissue finally come to fruition.

Today the place I ordered it from advised that MOV have officially cancelled the release
Same. It's definitely a no-go from MOV at this point. I can only hope this was scuttled so SFA could put it out themselves as part of their continuing reissue series. This is my favorite album of theirs. I truly hope we get it sooner than later.

Blade Runner 2049. Apart from artwork, how will this edition differ from the already stunning release?
It won't at all
10 hours ago, chunkrock said:I'm hoping this is for the unused Jóhann Jóhannsson score.
It isn't happening. The JJ estate has answered this at least twice that I can remember (not wagging a finger just explaining how serious they sounded) when they stated that this score was barely in its nascent stages and will never be published as a result. They seem to want to only release JJ's completed unreleased stuff if any more of that exists.
Of course one has to leave the door open to the notion that it could all turn out to be horse pucky because money.

On Bandcamp it says that 200 copies are for online sale and 100 for tour gigs (300 total). So my question was if the extra 50 that dropped online came out of the gig allotment. I just didn’t see that change on BC so wasn’t sure.
Sorry, LE. I knew what you were asking but I must not've worded my answer very clearly. In brief: What @cantdance said.

They announce that somewhere? Sucks for the people banking on that.
Not sure if it's been said explicitly, but I believe there was a tweet from the label saying these were on hand/shipping next week so it's a logical assumption that they halved their tour stock.

I can't second this enough. Once she decided to start writing songs for Rihanna, things took a turn for the bombastic and poppy. Earlier, she had a unique voice in the DIY dance/electronic scene to my ear. There have been a couple of handful of songs I've connected with since then, but not like her earliest LPs/EPs. Again, just one person's opinion, but check those records out and consider the years they were made; they are quite remarkable.
