Taken out of context.

How many innocent people have been Me Too'd?
Conor Oberst is the only one thats come to mind.
And how many guilty people have been Me Too'd? I don't see the evidence.
Take into account the damage that has been caused as a result of people jumping on that bandwagon, there are a TON of people who have been accused for sexually harassing someone simply for giving someone a compliment, or a chick who lacked the spine to simply say she wasn't interested.
People love to be victims.

Also, its nice to confirm my suspicion that doby blue is insufferable.
In regards to seeing MJK through a different set of eyes, that was indeed exactly what was done. Doby shared a Reddit post that went quite into detail about how this accusation seemingly doesn't hold much water at all. I can't claim that MJK is completely innocent since I don't have the answers. (Despite the joke I made regarding the video I posted earlier)
I don't think the guy has shown himself to be insufferable in the slightest. The dude he's been replying to is the definition of a hypocrite, he pointed out perfectly why that's the case.

Saying #MeToo has gone too far is a weird take.
While, yes, innocence until proven guilty is a fundamental right, victims need to be empowered too. I think the correct take away is to see how this develops, but people need to take a beat and maybe see MJK through a different set of eyes for the time being.
I don't believe it's a weird take at all. It's quite apparent and obvious at this point that #MeToo gives no fucks about innocence until proven guilty.
Otherwise I'd agree, of course a victim deserves to be heard.

Might as well lock this thread, meow.
No need, the thread can be used for what it was intended to be used for from now on. The way I see it, he should've created a new thread by the name of
"#MeToo collect vinyl" - Where they can sling accusations around about every artist who has ever walked the planet.

Maynard's only crime was raping this guy.

I never said I didn't like him. The way he acts makes me not want to like him. I would like more information, but beyond the tweet, some of what I have read makes me think he's a giant sleaze. Keep putting words in my mouth, though, if that's what makes you feel better. I'm not here to argue with some neanderthal on the internet. I posted a link / article because it's obviously going to come to everyone's attention much sooner than later. Sorry if that makes you sad. Welcome to the internet, big guy.
Welcome to you too. #MeToo isn't the positive thing you've heard it is from the media, those of us who've been on the internet for a while are aware of this by now.

Beyond this person's tweets, he sounds like an absolutely filthy human being who could give a shit about his fans and is primarily focused on getting his dick wet. If that doesn't sound like sex addiction to you, then I'm not sure what would.
Yeah, I think this is YOU enjoying siding with what very much strikes me as empty accusations simply because you don't like the guy. If I had the fame he had, I'd have gotten my dick quite wet too, just as most "rock stars" have. It's not that the guy doesn't give a shit about his fans, it's that he doesn't want them to suck his dick 24/7 (That's reserved for the groupies.)

It's going to snowball, so hop on and enjoy the ride! - https://www.ultimate-guitar.com/news/general_music_news/tools_maynard_james_keenan_accused_of_raping_a_17-year-old_girl_in_2000.html
Just a tad, you don't think this has gone too far for long enough?

Just going to leave this here -
Did you even read this horseshit? The constant use of the hashtag "MeToo" was enough for me to question her motives here. I did also find it rather odd that she was"traumatized" enough to colour up her Twitter profile a little to pander to #MeToo before she addressed the "issue" at hand. Not buying this, at all. With that said, if it turns out Maynard has been doing these things, then he should get the appropriate punishment. You'd think a 17 year old would be able to say no though, I know I would've.

Today is a glorious day.
Thanks for keeping everyone updated, I wasn't on this site but I was fortunate enough to check my Facebook today, otherwise I wouldn't have gotten the CD edition, guaranteed.
Can't wait to listen to this.

The Solipsis promo material being sent with the first 100 orders is such a big deal. I'm assuming the material in question is this release http://rateyourmusic.com/release/unauth/the_angelic_process/solipsistic/
Which has some absolutely fantastic songs on it, I'm honestly dying to hear how they're going to sound in CD/FLAC quality, considering there's only a low quality version of it available. If I don't get to be one of the first 100 ( Just the thought of it is making me anxious, seriously, The Angelic Process is the best band to ever graze this planet) - I can only hope that they will at least do a Bandcamp digital release of it. There is only one slightly disappointing aspect to this box set so far, and that is the lack of the CD bonus tracks of ...And Your Blood Is Full Of Honey, those tracks being Hang Him Higher and Cages Of Blood And Bone, both of which are absolutely ethereal and brilliant, ugh, I'm getting goosebumps just from mentioning them.

They released ...And Your Blood Is Full Of Honey with the new artwork on Bandcamp very recently, and as you can see, it's missing the bonus tracks which can be found on the physical CD.
https://burningworldrecords.bandcamp.com/album/and-your-blood-is-full-of-honey
With that said, I am pumped to finally get my hands on both the debut album and the Sigh EP, I consider that EP to be their very best work, although I'd take any of their material over basically everything else any day of the week. The passing of Kris is the most tragic loss in the history of music as far as I'm concerned, and to see how unkown they really are will forever boggle my mind. They were and still are an absolute treasure and it's simply a pleasure to be among the lucky few to have discovered them.
ALSO: That FUCKING explosion of a part at 3:55 of this song. It incinerates your entire face and proceeds to burn away at your soul. A tier of its own which I don't see any artist ever topping.

My love for Chris Corner is infinite. One of the greatest musicians going. That Metanoia Addendum is unfuckwithable. His music has aged like a fine wine, constantly evolving and surprising me.

Greatest industrial group to ever graze this planet. I can't think of a band more deserving of a (hopefully) complete discography reissued on vinyl.

Thanks. I have the Back To Black pressing, which I've never actually given a listen, so I'm curious as to how that one sounds. I'm looking forward to the remaster though.

I haven't heard the remasters but I'd me amazed if they top the current/previous press of TDS. It's one of the best-sounding records I own by far.
Which pressing are you refering to?

I'd love to hear your thoughts on the sound quality once you've had some time with it. I consider this record to be quite legendary.

How has the sound quality of the recent Death re-issues been thus far?
Human is one of my favourite releases of all time, and it's a no brainer for me if it turns out to be a fantastic pressing.

Do they charge you straight away?

Men have been flirty from the dawn of time, so no, you're not going to convince me at all. Now if we're talking rape, it's very much a different story. But you have yet to give me the list of people who have been rightfully accused.
