  1. This thread took a turn to awesome. PS: Laurence Fan?
  2. Thanks for the offer, man. That's awesome of you, and I just may take you up on it. It kind of sucks to have to worry about leaving all of your most important belongings in a car. Haha, noted. I'm used to awful drivers and people staring me down. I think I can get used to unfamiliar faces calling me friend. Good to hear I'll probably like it.
  3. Sorry to hear that you have to do that, man. Hopefully it isn't anything too bad.
  4. Haha, yeah. I'm actually looking forward to it. Since I have no time set to be there, I'm planning to head up the east coast first and see the places I've never seen, and then cross over through the country. I was actually born in Berkeley, but I haven't been back in probably 5 or 6 years. I'm not really familiar with Sacramento or the surrounding area myself, but having family there should make it easier. I've got a cousin who is into the music scene, so I might find a band I can kick it with for awhile. I've lived in Florida for the past 15 years, and I'm ready to move on. Also, a move is a move, man. It's always a pain in the ass.
  5. Small area near Sacramento called Pine Grove. I'm biding my time until August, which is when I'm moving to Glendale (I think it's Glendale) with two friends who are currently finishing up their degrees here. I'm moving out there ahead of time because my lease here is up and I'm not looking into signing another lease. I'm only waiting a few months for them to get there. I've got family in the area, and it's a cheap place to stay for now!
  6. I'm also moving this weekend. Similarly, I also just started packing! I'm throwing a lot of shit in storage and giving some stuff away. I'm moving to California from Florida, and I'm driving across the country by myself. I've got no set time frame to be there, so I'm going to do a hell of a lot of sightseeing. I'm only bringing my records, record player, 2 guitars and 2 basses and some clothes. Should be quite an experience. Any suggestions on what to see or do are welcome. Have fun, man.
  7. Minus The Bear - Acoustics (baby blue with cream haze) The Playing Favorites - I Remember When I Was Pretty (blue with white speckles) Thrice - The Illusion Of Safety (black) Love Me Destroyer - The Things Around Us Burn (orange/blue half and half) A Wilhelm Scream - Career Suicide (marble grey and yellow) The Casket Lottery - Possibilities & Maybes (white) Joey Cape - Bridge (black and tan) Joey Cape & Jon Snodgrass - Who Wants To Get Down (white)
  8. Pretty cool site. I got Cobra Skulls. Digging 'em so far.
  9. I'm loving "Stay Home" at the moment. I see no information of the LP you're putting out on your site, though. Are you pressing "This Will Not Define Us"? If so, how do I go about getting a copy?
  10. Ugh. I went back to playing Assassin's Creed to finish off the achievements. I have 99/100 flags in Damascus for the achievement, and I cannot find the one I'm missing. I gave up again.
  11. I'll survive, I'm sure. It does get old, man, but what can you do? Good luck on the job hunt, Yu. Keep your head up.
  12. I got laid off in mid-January. I was working at a law office, making about $21 an hour full-time with full benefits. I haven't been able to find employment since then. I'm pulling maximum unemployment benefits from the state, which is $300.00 a week now after this stimulus check they just started giving people on unemployment. It's not even half of what I was making. It helps, but my apartment runs me $1,200.00 a month alone, so it doesn't help much.
  13. I didn't really care for the song on first listen, but it's growing on me. I like Wade's singing. I thought the Black Lungs CD was pretty decent.
  14. Where did you end up going? I was at a film shoot all day, and by the time it was done, it was kind of late. I decided to head out to Backbone for shits and giggles, but Atlantic Ave. was packed with people for the Delray Affair (I think that's what was going on). I couldn't find any parking anywhere, and didn't feel like paying $10 to park, so I just left. :-/
  15. Damn this thread for making me dust Assassin's Creed off just to run around for a bit and finish up some achievements. Still fun!
  16. i was there, it wasnt that empty I'm going to have to agree. I know I had a bit (okay, a lot) to drink, but it didn't seem that empty. It was a blast either way.
  17. So stoked on this. As repetitive as the first one was, I thought it was great. There's something just oh so satisfying about running around and jumping on people with your shank and then running away, climbing up a random building. ...I guess the sneaky shanking was cool too.
  18. I've only seen them twice. The second time being their first show (I think) after reuniting this time around, at House of Blues in Orlando. One of the best shows I've had the pleasure of seeing.
  19. I got used to Vuze. Maybe I'm just lazy. I guess it doesn't really matter, as he was looking for a Mac program. You can always check oldversion.com for, uh, older versions of programs, including Azureus, if that's what you're into.
  20. If you use the right sites for torrents, you should be golden. I've never downloaded anything that was harmful to my computer, but I stick to only a few tried and true torrent sites (demonoid, mininova, pirate bay) and remain overly cautious. As for programs, I've always used azureus, which is called vuze now. You can check it out here.
  21. Haha, my bad! Anyone else need one, Scott's got you covered.
  22. Check your PMs, the both of you!
  23. This could be a good excuse to check out the newly remodeled Backbone in Delray.
  24. I also have invitation codes if anyone needs one.
