Gumbo’s love for mid post-rock knows no bounda.

What a deal. 12 records for $180.

I bought a 3 day VIP pass too. I’ve seen most of the bands there that I want to see one or more times but couldn’t pass this up. Never thought Jesus Lizard would play again and have never had the chance to see Cap’n Jazz or Dismemberment Plan. Wish it wasn’t in Vegas, but oh well. It should be a great time.

Definitely going to this.

Those VIP packages too lol. What is going on with these guys

I agree. Pretty pointless. I’ll probably sit the tour out too since the Portland date is at the worst “venue” it could possibly be at. I had to miss them last time they came but can’t justify having to deal with those prices or that bullshit place.

I’ve gotten older and have seen how the sausage is made. Music lacks the magic it had when I was a kid/teenager/in my early 20s. I still buy some records but due to the price hike and stagnation of my music tastes, there fortunately isn’t much out there for me to want to pick up anymore. I mostly keep up with vinyl hoping that something clicks one of these days and I fall in love again. The logical thing for me to do is just sell everything and put that money towards remodeling my house or beefing up my guitar rig. I can’t bring myself to do it just yet.

It’s hard to imagine anything worse than American Idiot.

Blue is the album id buy the 11 LP box set with no hesitation. The demos and b sides rock.
Same. The deluxe CD set they released forever ago soundtracked my life when I was 11-12. Dusty Gems and Raw Nuggets is essential Weezer. I haven’t seen them since I was a kid but will most likely catch them if they tour Blue Album.

Colored are almost ready to ship.
They have been shipping for a couple weeks, just in phases.

I swear the cat shirt was like $30 when I saw them last month. Caught the 3 Portland shows and am really hoping they do at least one more Seattle/Tacoma show to close this reunion out.

Yeah Unwound were wonderful. I probably mentioned it a lot earlier in this thread but I caught them a few times last winter. So good. Then saw Botch a couple days later and that went to the top of my list of best shows tied with Unwound. It’s been a solid year for Washington music.

thanks for your patience with me on this one, y'all. i know there have been some headaches over the last year or so. we've really been going through it. i'm def not trying to make any excuses though and want everyone to be happy with what they ordered. i will say tho, i've had so much support from friends when it gets crazy, but day to day, all customer service, shipping, receiving, inventorying—it's all just me. so it can get kinda backed up sometimes (it is right now). we're bringing on more folks to help soon and gradually rebounding from the whole Awesome Merch fiasco. i can't express how much that knocked us completely on our ass tho. i think we're putting out some of the nicest, high quality, intentionally packaged records of any indie label our size currently despite all that. and i think we're gonna get things more organized and streamlined in the next few months. so, yeah, idk, i am rambling, but i just wanted to say thanks for bearing with us on some super annoying pre-orders. we'll definitely get things humming along again here shortly.
oh! also! anyone getting the "Polaris Blue" variant and finding it doesn't look as intended. we're looking into how this happened as this isn't what we ordered. i was as suprised as any of you. here's some copy pasta i've sent a few people who have emailed to inquire about it:

It actually looks really nice with the small amount of blue in there. Works really well with the cover. People emailing you to complain about it is pretty pathetic imo.

My “polaris blue” came out almost completely white.

I have an old ORG press but will likely buy that 2xLP if the price drops on Discogs. Also need to grab the 20th anniversary one at some point. I’d probably actually spring for that box if I wasn’t spending a billion dollars remodeling my house.

Sweet. I think that is the only thing from them I don’t own.

2nd Ave. is the best record store in Portland.

for those wondering; it was a few bucks cheaper from the label
I would have gone for that but the Lync exclusive version is a bit better looking. All three variants are ugly as sin and I’m not sure what they were thinking when picking them.
Crazy that we haven’t seen people from the Numero threads pop in here. This album is right down their alley and fits well with all the 90s Numero releases. But even better than a lot of those albums imo.
