  1. This 100%. I saw them on that tour and I swear they both showed me god and curdled my milk. It was exhilarating.
  2. I don't disagree but I see the different phases of Swans as completely separate bands. Filth is fucking great. But so is White Light and also Father. I think thats why I love the band so much: they change and so do I (we). Some albums are better than others but NONE are mediocre. My opinion of course.
  3. White Light was my introduction to Swans. It hadn't been out long before I was turned on to it. I bought the recent repress of it and it sounds incredible. I can't not play it at eviction inducing levels. The Seer is my favorite of the 2010-2018 version of the band but honestly they are all great. In fact there is no Swans title that is "mediocre" in my book. The one I listen to least is Soundtracks for the Blind, but when I do I'm always impressed with it. Just IMO, but if you listen to WLFMI and then Great Annihilator its a great progression on a theme.
  4. White Light From The Mouth Of Infinity and The Seer are both desert island records in my life. I can say unequivocally that White Light... changed my life.
  5. I don't disagree with pricing but also that MOV seems to carry an upcharge. I pay it because they are well done. But somewhat begrudgingly I admit. My order is placed and I'm excited nonetheless
  6. A blast from the past.... https://www.bullmoose.com/p/31134715/neds-atomic-dustbin-god-fodder-silver-black-vinyl-silver-black-marbled-vinyl
  7. Curious how BK will sound vs the MOV reissue (which sounds fantastic).
  8. So do I pay $200 for October Rust or $200 for a box set I'll like but won't listen outside of October Rust. Decisions...
  9. I'm eyeballing their first LP which I guessed was remasted by Kreation records. Anyone have opinions on if it sounds good? Its a bit cheaper than the other version at $40
  10. I've confirmed mine is paid. But you do you or fuck off. Whichever.
  11. The order says paid so I’m operating under the notion it’s, ya know, paid.
  12. I'm tempted to cancel my Crow from Amazon and just hang until its repressed and widely available. Don't care about colored wax or etching.
  13. This track feels like the guitars are about to roar in and rock out the end of the track and they don't. I want to like it but it doesn't seem to evolve into anything. I guess I like their more guitar based vs the pop stuff.
  14. I feel like I'm in the minority in that I LOVE Kingdom of Rust.
  15. Ordered from him a few times and always delivered. This is sad news.
  16. Looking to add to my small but growing dub collection. Looking for collections of singles and/or LP’s from the 60’s and 70’s.
  17. I received mine finally and I'm pretty happy. I ordered through Grooves.land in Germany. $2 shipping is good and it took 10 business days from the date it shipped. I haven't mentioned them as I was waiting to see how the transaction went. They have many MOV titles for $20 USD so its a deal if you can wait.
  18. Yeah, I'm a fan of Appropriate Savagery and all they release is cassettes. I want to buy and support them but vinyl is my media of choice.
  19. I may have a source. I ordered today so I'll report back if all goes well. $30.32 shipped.
  20. Ed's is my go to for MOV stuff but they had already sold out of them when I went there. Looks like $42 shipped from Spain. I might go that route.
