i know, I reached out to them, and they broke it down, cost and whatnot. Its a 2xlp so I paid it. But its not thag bad, I paid $35 to spartan for that MAE, its seems for 2xlp its the going rate.

It seems The Lonely Sea & The Sky from 93millionmilesfromthesun is getting a vinyl press. A diy label, called String Light. Limited to 300. I tried to find a pre-order link but it seems they are doing the newsletter link thing. Their site needs work though. Lets see how it goes. I hate that for such an iconic band and such a great record what is supposed to be a 25th anniversary reissue got this kind of cheap treatment. I picked it up just because I am a big fan, and perhaps this inspires them to come back and do at least a reunion tour. Hopefully they do "static" justice. Because it has to be reissued soon enough.

Stopped the local shop and they were organizing their inventory. Got to see a few of the releases I wanted. That Marcy Playground tho. I really wish those The Cure releases weren't pic discs. I forsee getting them regardless.

Seems CCmusic has higher prices on the items I wish, compared to importcds and CCvinyl for some reason. Oh well. Thanks for posting @ExtraFox !

There are negatives to EVERYTHING. There will be always be people that criticize and and bring out those faults. Some are merited and some not so much. That being said. I LOVE record store day. I love sitting in line, talking about vinyl, collecting and experiences. Yes they are gimmicky releases. So what?! There are so many releases, that I always find something I like. I realize people have had bad experiences, but that's in the minority. Go to the shops day of, and ask. People have fun.
