No, a few of the tracks have remixes as far as the beats go, but none of the lyrics or verses were re-recorded. It was remastered, however, and it mostly just comes with a crazy amount of bonus material that was previously unreleased (About 26 additional tracks in total). Turned out pretty awesome, actually. We put a LOT of time into this thing to make sure it wasn't a trainwreck haha. And I totally agree with you there, most of that revisited stuff is usually pretty messy and not fluid.
