yeah i guess that's true. i wouldn't say it's "cheap" per say, fair would be a better term. i haven't bought a "punk" record in probably 3+ years, so i rarely get things like the 16 dollar 2xlp anymore, but most of the things i buy are nice 180g pressings with great packaging, so i don't mind spending extra for a good product. like the grateful dead - winterland '71 i got for christmas was 37 bucks for a 2xlp, but the sound is stellar, mastered directly from the analog reel masters, and the jacket is thick stock, just a great product all around, i would've bought it myself if it wasn't a gift.

congratulations on making some serious bank man. still blows my mind though that people would drop 400+ bucks on any record. i don't care if its my favorite record by my favorite band, and only 5 copies were ever pressed. i'd just listen to the cd at that point.

isn't it a 2xlp? 30 bucks is more than reasonable for that...

can't go wrong with soundboard recordings. and people that actually know how to correctly do aud recordings make them sound pretty damn good too though.

i've never been one to have shit signed at least by small bands like this. to me it kinda ruins it to have some scribbles in black sharpie on it. but if that will make you happy then by all means, have at it.

yea bose are junk for the price, and while this thing does look cool and novel, you could build a pretty killer system with 2100 bucks.

i think you're better off just buying a seperate turntable, and i'm sure you could find a cd player/tape deck for dirt cheap on craigslist. all in one systems kinda suck for the most part... and depending on your budget, maybe just wait? cause i've heard some people's 100 dollar turntables and kinda kills the point of listening to music on vinyl (unless you're just doing it to look cool) when your setup is so cheap like that.

because the t-shirt package comes with the rarest color available at the time you ordered, they made the gold one only available with that package, so if you ordered all 4 colors, and got the t-shirt package but were too late on it, you would end up with another silver, being the next rarest color...

really for 25 cents a pop at cvs, i would highly suggest you just go buy a new rigs. dirty needles are just not worth using...

just not really necessary for her. we cash her check and everything we buy is cash. i have a bank account for the few times a year we need to buy something online... we actually got her license duplicate at the rmv today and they wouldn't take cash there, thought that was ridiculous...

yeah, i find it weird that bank of america will make the whole check available, even if it's not a payroll. i used to have an account with them, and i put in my buddies christmas check for him for 50 bucks, that was a personal check from his mom and i was able to take that 50 out right away (totally got fucked over when the check bounced and i lost the 50 and got a 14 dollar fee). both me and my girl used to have bank of america accounts, and we both no longer do for the same reason, because they'll let you take out cash no matter what your balance is, and i couldn't avoid that temptation...so my account ended up at a negative ~430 bucks, and i didn't pay that back, let it go to collections, which i have since paid off but that was stupid. so now i have an account with a local bank, that i love, and they don't let me take money i don't have. we got her check cashed today at liquor store in springfield, that didn't even ask for an ID, which I was totally surprised they did that. we're going to go tomorrow to get a replacement license, but we have to go to the rmv because they won't let her do it online, because she'll need a new picture. thing is, she has no birth certificate, social security card, or anything like that. think they'll be able to just look up her old license picture, see that it is infact her, and let her get a new one? i god damn hope so!

Here's my situation. It's my girlfriends payroll check. She doesn't have a bank account but we usually just go to the local supermarket and they would cash it for a dollar, but she lost her ID a few weeks ago. So for the past 3 weeks I had my friend put it in her bank of america account and there the funds were available immediately. But said friend is in Boston for her break but I have another friend with a TD Bank account that would try it but isn't sure if it would work the same way.

Does anyone know if you deposit a payroll check in the ATM are the funds immediately available for withdrawal?

does someone have a copy of this you could send me? my cd is scratched beyond playability...
