  1. I remember asking Gavin at a show before CWA came out if they were going to press any more vinyl besides the Bug Eyes 7". He said they'd love to, but that the label owns all that stuff and they have literally no interest in letting them do it. Granted, this was 10 years ago, but it sounds like that still applies here re: original master tapes.
  2. Twist and Shout is good because they have the most/biggest selection, though they can sometimes be pricy, especially used shit. Wax Trax isn't far, but is much smaller and mom and pop-ish, so you feel better buying records there because it's been there for 30 years and T&S is more like a mall version of a record store. Speaking of 1 Up, there is a second location there on Colfax so you don't have to go downtown where it's all bro-y. Also, go to Illegal Pete's. It's like if Chipotle had better food and served a full bar. For shows, look up the Bluebird and Ogden calendars (as well Gothic, Red Rocks, Marquis Theater, and Summit Music Hall) for close shows around that Colfax area.
  3. I come to this messageboard everyday for a variety of reasons, number one being that this is announced for preorder. See you guys tomorrow...
  4. Yeah, it's not close to any of the old albums, but for what it is, it's a pretty decent album. My expectations were pretty low (as they always are for reunion albums after many years), but it's a solid listen for something that basically no one thought would exist.
  5. I want this more than any album that is not yet available on vinyl.
  6. It was June 21, 2005, so maybe that's what they are waiting for.
  7. I have copies of Songs on Blue Guitar (on blue vinyl) and an OG Old Ramon I could be talked into selling.
  8. I have a copy of Starless and Bible Black if you want it.
  9. I stayed up all night refreshing the website. Ended up getting around 6 am.
  10. I got mine today as well. Both had a pretty big crease on one of the corners thanks to USPS, but whatevs, happy to have them.
  11. I like Backspacer as well. For what it's worth, I sold that Amongst the Waves 7" for $60 last year, so it's not a total waste.
  12. Didn't they say there was going to be a non-pic LP version though? That's all I care about.
  13. I would have been stoked with a red Lightning Bolt, for looks alone as well. The EV uke album is fine and good, but I do have a copy already (from Ten Club as well). Check my order history, hombres! Regardless of whatever rare 7" I could have gotten, I would have been supremely pissed if I got a black Backspacer.
  14. I am dumb. Plus, just got delivered. Uke Songs and Mother Love Bone black friday RSD single. Yawn.
  15. The tracking number they sent me says Not Found when I try to track it on USPS. I hope that's not a sign of nothing to come. :/
  16. Ordered and shipped on Wednesday, came media mail. I think they were shipped from one state away (NM to CO). Funny enough, from the the store I used to frequent when I lived in Albuquerque. SG was a little beat up, clearly a store copy that was handled a bunch, but can't complain for $17.
  17. My Gone Girl and Superunknown showed up today. Pretty fast and reasonably packed ok, considering last time I ordered a record from Hastings came in a bubble mailer.
