  1. I have some serious OCD with no only my storage, but also with my poly sleeves, so I figure I can share with you what I do and/or have done in the past. I use two types of poly bags for my records, which I scoop up from BU. For me, this works out great because if I order 100 bags of each type every time I place an order, I get free shipping. For single LPs or gatefolds that have a minimal spine, I use the 12 5/8x12 5/8 3 mil bags - they are snug fitting & don't have a seam over the spine. I should add that I HATE loose poly bags. http://www.bagsunlimited.com/p-3730-12-record-jacket-sleevea-idrjsa.aspx For double LPs I use the same bag except in the 12 3/4x12 3/4 measurement to allow extra space. http://www.bagsunlimited.com/p-4186-12-record-jacket-sleeve.aspx The 3 mil is a great size that is sturdy and clear without having that nasty seam. For me, the 2 mil versions are just too flimsy. Hope that helps!
  2. This has always been one of my favorite bands! I even went so far as to order the hand-pressed versions of Beyond Virtue, Beyond Vice before they were able to get an actual CD pressing available to the public. It's a shame that no one else seems to be into this band on here or else I might consider doing it via MOMR!
  3. THIS!!! My only fear is that my house will flood and ruin my entire collection in one fell swoop.
  4. When speaking to band members at a recent show, they said that the vinyl release will include the songs from the 7" release. It is probably safe to assume that those make up the "bonus tracks."
  5. Would kill for Tiger And The Duke. I think it's on this thread a thousand times...hopefully it happens one day.
  6. http://www.hottopic.com/hottopic/WhatsNe....-LP-312 641.jsp Can't you do 1 dollar for store shipping or something. As always I see I should have been more specific and/or literal. I've ordered an additional copy on the kiosk as well...but I STILL can't wait to listen to it...because (needless to say) I'm still waiting on a shipment to arrive. So I must repeat - I can't wait to spin this!
  7. www.hottopic.com Well, maybe if my store would've gotten some copies instead of more Pink Floyd LPs, I would've picked one up already! I'm the SM @ #185, Travis. ;-)
  8. Do you have "The Transient Effects Of Light On Water" 3x7" set? It's pretty damn cool!
  9. Saw Eisley last month and was going to get a copy of this (because it rules and the color is GORGEOUS), but they wanted $25 for it. Total bummer.
  10. Ever check out The Firebird Band? Chris' post Braid outfit. Solid electro-tinged indie rock if you're into that sort of stuff. I recommend The City At Night if you're unfamiliar.
  11. Looks sharp dudes. Except for those Lights at Sea shirts. The dude who printed those must SUUUUCK. ;-)
  12. Seeing all of these makes me wish I had ordered more than just the Deluxe! I wanna spin a copy so badly!
  13. I'd also love a vinyl pressing of the Love Your Abuser Remixes - those tunes are incredible!
  14. I did a release last year that didn't have labels. Most plants won't even do it, and it probably only shaved maybe $75-$100 off of the total cost of the release. I had to shop around a bit to find someone willing to tackle the project. Not having labels on a record increases the chances of it warping, as the label serves as an extra stabilizing agent. Knowing this risk, I insisted that my artist vision required it, signed the special waiver, and TA DA!
  15. i didn't bug him; he specifically told me to email him. i don't think you read the rest of this thread. I definitely read the thread. I was saying that emailing him once probably sufficed. Anything beyond that is overkill. Can you imagine how many emails he must be getting regarding these releases? Too many, that's for sure.
  16. No need to bug the dude. He's working hard to get these out, so sit tight and they will arrive as soon as possible. It's not like he's just sitting in a pile of records listening to all of them laughing at us poor suckers who can't do the same.
  17. I don't know if flippers could even handle more vinyl from Glassjaw. They've gotta be struggling to keep up at this point.
  18. One final bump. This goes away tomorrow. Thanks to everyone who has ordered...your packages have all shipped. You're the greatest.
  19. There is a CD version of this available?! I've only seen digital. Side note: would sell my first born for some Recover on vinyl. Couldn't care less about order of release as long as they all exist at some point!
  20. I do still have a couple copies of these tests. All feature alternate artwork from the LP and autographed by the band. I am always up to trade...not really into selling them. Makes me feel icky. PM me.
  21. I am able to get a refund from the store, courtesy of the distributor being cool about it as well, but they aren't able to replace it as they have none in stock. Needless to say, I'm in the market for a new copy of Bleed American. If anyone is unloading a copy, please PM me. I'll love you forever.
