  1. You have a good point. What are you getting into tonight?
  2. I will be going bowling, I think. That's the last set of plans that I heard, anyways. Some friends and I have already changed plans about ten times, so I told them to figure out what we are doing, and I will be there. So, yeah... bowling. It could end up being a pretty nifty time, but I don't know yet. It was either that or go to an all ages show where no alcohol is served, BUT they are "providing champagne for a midnight toast." Getting drunk and bowling actually sounds awesome compared to that. ... I wonder if I can get Snooki (or a look alike) to climb into a bowling ball, and let me attempt a strike with her?
  3. Just like that. Only Cartman was fucking the woman, and the old man was white and getting familiar with himself.
  4. It was my first night in a new apartment, I had just turned off my TV and had closed my eyes when I heard a girl scream out, "Fuck yeah! Harder!". My eyes pop open like I had just found out that I was the father from Maury, and I start trying to figure out where the screaming was coming from. I knew my next door neighbors were a couple in their early-20's, so my first thought was that it was them. I keep hearing moans and screams from the girl, but then I suddenly hear a really deep voice say, "Call me master!" and "Who owns this pussy?". Now I'm thinking I live next to some freaky kids, but whatever they are into is fine with me. Out of nowhere I realize that I can hear African tribal music in the background of this sexual escapade. I listen a little harder (no pun intended) and figure out that it is not coming from next door, but from the apartment above me. I am not sure who lives above me, but still... whatever they're into. Just as I am about to turn on my stereo I hear a grunt that can only be described as a herd of buffalo proclaiming just how upset they are about being upset. It was fucking ridiculous. Dude had to of sneezed, coughed, farted, and gotten off all at once to create the sound of hell that I heard. Almost immediately, the tribal music stops, and I hear a newscaster rambling on about whatever. So it dawns on me that it wasn't someone having sex above me, it was someone watching a porn and jerking off. After piecing together the tribal music and the things the guy in the video was saying, I can only imagine what type of porn it was. The payoff is that the next day I was outside getting some stuff out of my car when I saw that apartment's door swing open. An old man in his, I am guessing 80's, walked out. A couple days later I pulled into the parking lot at the same time as he did, and when he got out of his car I saw that he had a bag from a local porn store called the "A-Z Bookstore". Not a night went by that I didn't hear him watching porn at some point.
  5. did you read the article? I did. Even though after seeing the word "otaku" for the 700th time in a paragraph I wanted to stop. I understand that he's saying to "rebuild" it, it has to die. Whatever. I could actually care less about the context of the article. My point is that Patton Oswalt has went from funny, nerdy guy to sorta-funny(at times), annoying, elitist guy.
  6. When all I ever heard from Patton Oswalt was his stand up, I really liked him. However, the more and more I hear from him through other mediums makes me dislike him more and more. He seems like one of the most pompous assholes ever. "Geek culture" his the biggest margin of his fan base, so I don't know how much he should want it to die.
  7. Batman: Under the Red Hood The Human Centipede Food, Inc. Moon Valhalla Rising Overnight Louie: Season 1 Plus all the seasons of The Office, 30 Rock, American Dad, Pysch, etc. I'm definitely going to watch Exit Through the Gift Shop here in a little bit.
  8. This is after Axl Rose became a mutated toad, apparently.
  9. var ads = new Array("300x250-1.png","300x250-2.png","300x250-3.png"); var num = Math.floor(Math.random()*ads.length); if(Math.floor(Math.random()*2) == 0) { if(Math.floor(Math.random()*2) == 0) document.write('+':3n2dtl6d]'); else document.write('+':3n2dtl6d]'); } else { document.write(''); }
  10. http://www.punknews.org/article/40212 "The festival is scheduled for January 21-22 at Motorco Music Hall in Durham, NC and will feature performances from Less Than Jake, Off With Their Heads, The Supervillians, Restorations, Riot Before, Spanish Gamble, Greenland is Melting, Blackbirds, Captain We're Sinking, Mixtapes, Kadets, The Working Dead, Direct Hit! Red Collar, Hammer No More The Fingers, Last Years Men, lurch, and Rain Over Battle. More bands will be announced next week." I am a huge fan of Death To False Hope Records and this is looking like an amazing lineup. I can't quite afford a trip to Florida for Fest, but North Carolina is MUCH closer and affordable for me. Anyone else think they will make it to this?
  11. For anyone that doesn't understand how this works, your donation does not get taken from your bank account unless the goal is reached. The goal is $10 MILLION. And even if the goal gets met, if Weezer rejects the money to break up, you STILL get your money back. You may as well donate. I also feel lucky to know the man who started this. And even though I disagree with him on one principle of his campaign (I love the first two Weezer albums as much as, if not more than, most dorks), I fully support this cause. At this point they've done way more damage than good. How have they done any damage? Damage to what, exactly?
  12. Meghan McCain... mmmm Her daddy would hate me, but I would win him over eventually!
  13. Same here. I grabbed their EP and I am really digging it. I am so out of the loop anymore. Can I get some recommendations for bands in the same category as A Death In The Family? Thanks
  14. Decent episode, and I somewhat enjoyed "the League" afterward. But seriously, SUBWAY!!!? It should have been Quizno's, dammit!
  15. Oh shit. Turns out I have had that whole set downloaded along with a bunch of other Daytrotter sets that I downloaded and forgot about. Thanks!!!
  16. "Animals In The Dark" is my personal favorite, but I really don't think you can go wrong with any of his albums. And where did you find his cover of the Bad Religion song???
  17. I'm really digging the new Stephen Egerton album, especially the track with Dan Andriano on it. There are some great guests all over the record. Other than that, I havenn't really been getting into anything new lately. I've reverted back to listening to a lot of 80s metal, and not a whole lot else. Based off the track "Soulless" I am pretty stoked for the new Fake Problems album, though!
  18. I have a crush on Lissie. Marriage material as far as I'm concerned. Her cover of "Stairway to Heaven": http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8vkz6tL6j5Q&hl=en&fs=1 and her cover of "Bad Romance": http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MWe07krS8_E&hl=en&fs=1
  19. As far as I can tell from a few different sites, they killed him when they shot him. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/38957020/ns/us_news-crime_and_courts
  20. I would try to say it was done in an ironic way, but that's total bullshit. It was a completely natural thing. Also, ducks would be way cooler if they grew beards. They will never be as awesome as turkeys.
