  1. Thanks for posting this! I was ~3 minutes away from giving a Zoom presentation when I saw this and was like "oh, shit!" and placed my order. My heart rate might have been slightly elevated during my presentation, but it was worth it
  2. yep, and they annoyingly made it /250 (unlike the other deluxe that was /250 and then was bumped to /500)
  3. Just an FYI: I bought an orange copy of Material with my preorder, and it shipped separately. Lo and behold, it arrived today, and it's a signed copy...?! That was a pleasant surprise. As for this album, I like it, but I'm not loving it yet.
  4. back in stock now. looks like they bumped it from /250 to /500, for better or worse
  5. Shortly after I posting that comment, I also received a "There's a new estimated delivery date..." email. Shouldn't have jinxed it... Anyhoo, I'm currently scheduled for next Wednesday
  6. On another NIN-related note, I got my Watchmen Vol 2 order from Amazon yesterday and my only complaint is that it wasn't shipped in a "proper" shipper like Amazon usually uses for vinyl records -- instead it was just in a box with some air bubbles. While the record was delivered without damage, it *does* have an ugly Amazon barcode sticker on the shrinkwrap. Since it seems that the initial Amazon orders tend to come without actual hype-stickers identifying the album as being by Trent+Atticus (just the bloody Watchmen "Vol 2" sticker), the Amazon sticker kinda hurts the aesthetic. Woe is me
  7. right, the original presses were clear and black for Sonno and white and black for Risveglio, which is what are listed on Boomkat for these releases. I'm all for them being back-in-print, but I'm surprised they didn't (a) just do black or (b) do new color variants to attract collectors. in any case, I should revisit these albums. I like Alessandro's more recent albums, but I never really got into either of these...
  8. I'm annoyed that I still haven't received my "AutoRip" mp3 of the album, but you certainly have a better gripe with them than I do. Hopefully it all works its way out in the end; if not, I should have an extra copy on the way from Target (though they've had their own issues) that I could hook you up with.
  9. it says "Ships from and sold by Amazon", but more importantly 11/8 is the release date everywhere else, so perhaps there is a special version that was only sold at Amazon on 11/4 and a separate version that goes everywhere (including Amazon). I could imagine some places might have more trouble promoting a "Sons of Pale Horse" The Book of Rorschach album than a Trent/Atticus Watchmen album. in any case, I put in preorders through Amazon and through Target ($50 total) just to cover my bases.
  10. there are two different listings -- one with an 11/4 release date and one with an 11/8 release date. not sure what (if any) difference there is between the two.
  11. Sorry to interrupt the fascinating discussion of politics in Seattle, but Atticus & co. did the score for the Netflix movie Earthquake Bird and it looks like Invada will be releasing it on vinyl in December. No preorder on Amazon yet (though there's a page for the mp3), but it's up on BM. Not sure why Earthquake Bird is getting a vinyl release before Quake, Patriots' Day, and Bird Box (not to mention Atticus & co.'s score for The Defiant Ones), but oh well.
  12. Got my copy today -- thanks, King Bezos! I wonder if an Autorip download will pop-up once it's available digitally elsewhere. On a side note, if y'all want to avoid the EVIL CORPORATION that is LAME-AZON, you can order the records from Target (it's a local shop based in Minneapolis) for under $50 total. https://www.target.com/p/trent-reznor-watchmen-volume-1-ost-vinyl/-/A-78786715 https://www.target.com/p/trent-reznor-watchmen-volume-2-ost-vinyl/-/A-78786716 https://www.target.com/p/trent-reznor-watchmen-volume-3-ost-vinyl/-/A-78786717
  13. The video was an unboxing done by a kid (fwiw, Youtube comments claim it's Adam's son), and the kid was not gentle when doing the unboxing. Packaging seems cool.
  14. Amoeba has a listing for autographed copies of TOTDY ($49.99), but it's unclear to me if they've actually made any available... maybe those will go up on Friday? https://www.amoeba.com/too-old-to-die-young-autographed-ost-colored-vinyl-lp-cliff-martinez/albums/4170830/
  15. I feel so confused... I can see how this could be a good/fitting tribute to someone (the idea that Wayne could have once said "When I die, y'all can replace me in the band so the music can live on, but the dude's gotta dress up like zombie me" doesn't sound that far-fetched), but I can also see how this could be in super poor taste (e.g., if he and the other band members weren't on good terms when he died). on a much less lighter note, I wonder how Adidas feels about Zombie Wayne wearing one of their track jackets
  16. I like it, but Gavin Rossdale's voice hasn't aged well *at all* #BurnBabyBurn I'm not the only one who remembers that other band named Institute, am I?
