gangland was awesome, and kind of still is, but it drives me nuts when they have huge day long marathons because it happens way too frequently. the downside of it is, that while it's intense and all that, it always kinda screws with my perspective on gangs and what i know about the types of people that are in gangs. i liked monster quest at first but then they started doing stuff about giant hogs and not like...the jersey devil and it kinda bummed me out. i like the really elaborate history channel programs where they put crazy ideas in your head about shit like that. when josh bernstein did digging for the truth it was awesome. i was into the cities of the underworld show too but then that guy got super obnoxious. it's gone down hill in the past 2 years. i don't understand why the logging and ice road trucker shows are on the history channel, either. wasting valuable time they could be spending on ufos haha.

100% true. I never dealt with them at the time, it was sort of before my time in the mid-90's but I have friends who saw them play. For a while Tony was denying it and saying only his brother was in the band but Tony was in the band too...granted he was really young and influenced by an older brother...we all have done stupid, regrettable things trying to be accepted in our formative years. 6 or 7 years ago they found out I was telling people about it and they emailed me threatening me for talking about at, which i wish i still had the emails, but I told them i would not stop telling people about it until he owned up to it and talked about it as a regrettable part of his life to hopefully be some sort of role model for any impressionable kid to realize they shouldn't go down that path and after that they stopped emailing me and I think he talked about it for a little while in the press. there are pictures and demo tapes floating around... in other news: the AF misinterpretation was i think more a poor-wording choice rather than them being overtly racist. had a similar experience when trying to get tickets to the NIN show at the tabernacle on the club tour for with teeth. my friend was at work and i was to order things through his account, we had neglected to think that they'd need the security pin on his card and in the 30 seconds it took to call and get that information i lost my place in line and all the tickets were gone when i tried again. they need to fix this shit. on a side note, shit is even worse for sporting events, i recently had to direct my dad to purchase me tickets for a rays/red sox game as a late birthday gift, was astounded by the blatant raping ticketmaster does for mainstream events (see: not a tour of "underground" bands).

In general I trust a lot of the things you say to be credible and considering you're from the same part of the country as this band I imagine your information to be correct - but I always under the assumption that the Confederate Storm stuff was about as legitimate as such other classic-early-in-their-career racist recordings from Biohazard and No Warning. Not that I had ever really investigated that, nor does it change the fact that everything about this dude is really unappealing - I just always figured that was some exaggerated lore and so to hear it from someone who's information I don't generally question I'm curious. Sorry if that's worded weird.

my ex girlfriend got a kid off who sold coke to two undercover police officers...the legal outcome and the truth are not the same thing to me. from what i recall he went to where the guy was, with some understanding that there might be a violent confrontation. but whatever, the loss of a life is one thing - and i hate to make light of that, however the crimes he committed against humanity with mest are basically on par with that.
