What will become of the "collector of the week" series?

I've heard that before, but I always refute it in my mind by thinking of Led Zeppelin IV... If anyone can find a text that explains this, I'd certainly appreciate it.

My friends and I were discussing if fidelity of a track is different on a 33 1/3 LP on the outter edge of the platter vs the inside. I know that the circumference on the outside vs the inside is different (obviously) and that the angular velocity is the same on inside vs outside, but does the fidelity change depending on location? Thoughts?

On the topic of expedit, I'm looking at getting one, but can't decide between the 4x4 for $100 or the 5x5 for $199. Anyone using this shelf know how many LPs fit in one of the cubes? Not everyone who chooses to not shop at wal-mart is a hipster fuck, just like not everyone who shops at wal-mart is an inbred toothless redneck.

My collection is rapidly increasing and I need help. I'm up to app. 450 records and growing. I just saw the post for the October Vinyl Collector of the month and was looking at his rack(s). I've always heard cubes are the best - easy to move and stackable. Are they typically purchased or hand made? I've also seen a couple of other racks/towers available on the internet from prices at $50-$450. Currently I have an old book shelf that I affixed stronger shelf bottoms to creating a two shelf system app 30" high by 36" wide. I also have an old apple crate that houses a bunch. I'm moving soon and would like to ditch this old set up for a new one. How do you store your vinyl?
