  1. I think Melody Supreme in Charlottesville had a Cohen/Buckley yesterday. You can also try calling Crooked Beat in Washington DC. Good Luck!
  2. That is a great store BTW. I was just there yesterday. I was originally going to pass on the SR, because my wantlist was so big. But, they had it SO CHEAP, I could not pass it up They were even selling old RSD items for HALF OFF! I finally found the Rainer Maria RSD Lp, and it was next to nothing in price. I will be going back in there when I have more money to look around
  3. Hey FrankieM! I found your Their/They're/There Vinyl. Do let me know if you scored a Bat For Lashes. PM to follow shortly
  4. Sadly, I do not live near Reckless Records. However, I will ask for this at the record stores I will be visiting. If I score a copy, I will happily swap for the Bat For Lashes 7 inch. Are you looking for anything else? Peter
  5. Well, yes and no. It is "Listed" on the RSD website as a "RSD Limited Run / Regional Focus Release" but the fine print says only for sale at Coachella sponsored by Zia Records. I am a little late on the ball for this, as I think the concert is going on now. BUT, just in case someone out there is checking their phone, or someone from Zia Records can help, I sure would appreciate it Thanks for the reply! Peter
  6. Hello, Anyone in the UK need one of the Stateside RSD releases this year? If so, I am really wanting the Bat For Lashes "Laura/Marilyn" UK vinyl 7 Inch. I also might have a double of her RSD 2012 release "Strangelove," if that would interest you, Please PM if you can help. Yours in sound, Peter
  7. Hello, If anyone is reading this at Cochella, or is near a Zia Records location, I am really wanting the Rodreguez "Cold Fact" clear vinyl pressing. I REALLY like clear vinyl, and to get this amazing album pressed that way would be an awesome add to my collection. I will be waiting in line at 4AM at one of my local record stores this Saturday, and would certainly trade you another RSD piece that perhaps you would want more. I am also willing to Paypal you, provided how much extra you would need above purchase price Please PM me if you can help. Yours in sound, Peter
  8. For some strange reason, I just can't find this vinyl LP. If someone has an extra, I will buy or trade. Yours in sound, Peter
  9. The OG european pressings are on black vinyl with a printed inner sleeve. IMHO, I found that this record always sounded a bit steely, kinda like it was recorded on an ADAT machine. Not horrible, mind you. Just not as warm and punchy as some other big guitar rock records in my collection. If the original pressing plant was using the 16 bit CD master to pressing the original LP, it would explain the lack of warmth on that pressing. I wonder if the MOV pressing sounds any better?
  10. Yeah, Zac Brown "The Foundation" is already out of print, sadly. :-[
  11. The first five Garth Brooks LPs were pressed up on vinyl: Garth Brooks (USA and European pressings) No Fences (USA record club and UK pressings) While the BMG pressing has a nicer cover, the Columbia Rec Club copy sounds great, if you like his music. My wife also has the UK pressing. It has extra songs from the "Garth Brooks" album included on it. Ropin' the Wind (USA record club and UK pressings) The Chase I have a UK pressing. I have never seen a USA record club pressing. In Pieces The rarest of the bunch. Even my wife does not have this. Was supposed to come out in Europe, but my record guy at the time never received any even though he had orders down his arm. I have seen a Brazilian pressing fetch big bucks on E-bay. Just goes to show the short sightedness of the guy and his record label. The guy keeps releasing the same albums over and over again on CD, but to this day never released a "vinyl box" with his albums in it. Even if he did do a small run (500-1000 copies), a bunch of Garth heads would pick the thing up. Personally can't stand the guy, (Met him, was VERY rude...) but my wife likes his music.
  12. Zac Brown WAS pressed up on vinyl. I remember seeing a copy of this a few years ago: http://www.soundstagedirect.com/zac-brown-band-the-foundation-vinyl-lp.shtml
  13. GAWD, that is an AMAZING record. You would have to wrestle that one from my dying hands
  14. I JUST set up a trade for my extra copy. I have to honor it if everything goes through. I will PM you anyway, in hopes you might be looking for some other things.
  15. Maybe, but original pressings that are rumored not to exist are just so SEXY
  16. I remember ordering this from a Vinyl Mailorder store way back in 1996, and he told me that the LP pressing was "cancelled." Apparently, this was the rumor going around the many people that pre-ordered this on vinyl, but never received any. I would be so into this, but RSD kind of cleaned me out for several weeks :-[ However, I DID receive my Mazzy Star "So Tonight That I Might See" UK LP from him way back then, so it was all good
  17. Ok, I will stop by and see if they have any left. Stay tuned
  18. I remember seeing USA copies of Toxicity at 2nd and Charles close to home, but they were VERY expensive, like $40 each. If you don't have sticker shock, I can go back and see if they still have one.
  19. Found the LAST copy within a 100 mile radius I can't wait to hear this! Now I just need to find the "Amanda Palmer Performs The Popular Hits Of Radiohead..." vinyl LP.
