i'm kind of curious as to where the black vinyl comes into play then? if i'm not mistaken, the colors out there are hot pink, green (glow in the dark), yellow, and red.... hmmmmmmm......

I was wondering the same thing when i got my vinyl. Was kinda bummed that i got red, but noticed it was a clear red as opposed to the solid red they put up on the site. You would think if there were two variations though it would be noted in the discography section, no?

Honest question, is there anyway in hell to get this LP without shelling out over $150 or $200? Would love to add this to my collection, but all the copies i've found are either Buy It Now (on Ebay) for $299 or auctions i end up missing. Got this yesterday. Album cover has a very nice matte (if i'm not mistaken) finish to it, along with a lyric sheet, which also has a matte finish. Record is 180 gram and sounds beautiful. Definitely one of my favorite releases. It is a true blessing to finally be able to listen to it on wax! So to those of you who were complaining about the high cost, it comes with great reasoning. I would post pictures but only have a shitty Iphone, which i'm sure would produce pictures that wouldn't nearly do this album justice.

'the ocean and the sun' was pressed as a 7" and came with one of the masks they were selling. But i agree their other releases should be pressed..especially 'tiger and the duke'. True. And ever since then i've been searching for that 7". I was too stuborn to grab one when they put pre-orders up

I'll be honest... i didn't bust it out again til just now... Still sounds pretty weak on Side A. Side B is a little better, but not anywhere near as bad as Side A. Only reason i was asking was because i've read reviews of albums before where people said not to purchase the lp version because of how horrible it was mixed / sound quality issues. Was just making sure this wasn't the case... Thanks for the responses fellas.
