Six months after arriving to LA and discovering that my record player had been broken in transit, I'm finally back in the game after picking up a basic Sony PS-LX300 turntable today. My records have been staring at me from the shelf, so I'm happy to have a way to play them again.

I haven't been following that carefully, but has there been any news on the TDAA release? One of my favorite albums ever, but I'm extremely wary of ordering from this label.

The idea of cassettes coming back sounds like it'd be something out of Portandia. Looks like a cool documentary though.

For the most part, my experiences with InSound have been great. The only annoying thing is that sometimes they'll tell you that an item is backordered AFTER you place the order, so if you're in a rush, maybe ask them ahead of time. That said, they're cool and let local New Yorkers come to their warehouse / office to pick up records to save on time / shipping costs.

Yep, mine came with 2 Earths. Damn, this is going for $200+?? Maybe now's a good time to unload it.
