I didn't order this and I haven't ordered from Milk before but hand-written notes are one of the cool perks of buying tapes from small labels. Almost all of them will include a note and a fistful of stickers, random download codes, candy, old baseball cards, etc. Very cool that Milk does it for their orders.

I'm getting spam redirects on my iPhone. It's slightly different each time as far as what the message or spam says.
It happens every so often and I've noticed it for a few weeks but it always stops right when I'm almost motivated to post about it.

When they say "shipping begins soon" do they mean "there will be a secret 2nd full length included and a slip with a pre-order code for a 3rd secret full length inside"?

My side C on the red soundtrack is a bit noisy but not enough to deal with a return/replacement. All in all, I've been very very happy with both official soundtracks and the Windswept supplemental soundtrack. They've definitely reminded me of how much I enjoyed the series and how much thought went into the music and song selections. The trope of having a band play a song at the Roadhouse at the end of each episode was very interesting and flavored the show really well.

I fit 30 cassettes per drawer but I made the mistake of "locking" the drawers so they don't pull out all the way. If you don't "lock" them and let the drawers pull out completely, it should hold closer to 45 cassettes per drawer. As far as I know, this is the only size for the Helmer. I didn't see a larger version.

Not as bad as the first 3 songs but it still sounds like a song written for a made-for-Netflix Adam Sandler movie. Not good.

Back when I was 10 and didn't have a CD player yet, cassettes cost $12 to $15 at all the music stores. You kids today have it so easy!

2. $10+ cassettes are so stupid. Do cassettes cost labels $5 a piece to produce all of a sudden?

I would like to introduce this crazy project of mine I did recently - find records in your shelf with a laser pointer!



The main idea is that I organize my shelves based on my Discogs collection and then I find them with a Raspberry Pi pan-tilt laser pointer. I build an manager app and everything!

The full hardware setup is harder to replicate and it's not always 100% accurate (this wasn't the idea anyway) but the app is quite cool - I use it everyday, especially for the Last.fm integration. Will be happy to answer any question and requests!
