  1. I was just explaining this same concept to a co-worker. My memory of first listening to SOPTC was "why are there electronic beats/techno/etc.". I wasn't a progressive rock fan at this point and didn't listen to much cross-genre music. I ignored SOPTC for a few days and then started wondering if I was missing something. I gave it my first serious listen through after those few days and was hooked. Granted, the new song is a pop rock "anthem" but in context it could make a lot more sense. Time will tell...
  2. Seriously, I really want a copy and hoping these are still around. Could someone please share the link? I appreciate this company doing this, but I've been trying to get this for awhile now so I'm in a similar boat to anyone else that would like a copy. It also doesn't hurt to ask fellow community members to help out once in a while. I've helped plenty of others in the past.
  3. Was there another time zone created between CA and PA?
  4. I've already got $25 worth of stuff in my cart and RSD stuff isn't even up yet
  5. If anyone stumbles across a Foo Fighters 10", Johnny Marr 7" or Makthaverskan 7" in store or online, please help me out. I'll throw in some extra $$$ for your troubles.
  6. Will probably order since I don't have Moaning Lisa Smile on vinyl. The original 10" release is OOP and pricey when it surfaces used.
  7. Ordered the clear 180 gram and shirt package. I've got over $300 invested in this campaign. I said it before...they're one of the few I'd do this for.
  8. Spun my clear copy today and I'm impressed with the high quality vinyl production. Heavy vinyl with little to no audible surface noise. Dynamic mastering as well. I'll be listening to this quite a bit. The album is a great extension of the EPs. Keyboards, electronic generated tones definitely play a heavier role in the songs and the mix and it works well.
  9. Great song, can't wait to hear Andrews' production and mixing expertise applied.
  10. Grabbed both of the affordable variants and a CD. $75 for /5 and $160 for /1 is too rich for my blood.
  11. Incredibly catchy song. Looking forward to hearing the rest of this.
  12. Pre-ordered this on the Pelican bandcamp to get the FLAC download with it.
  13. Got some things off their Kickstarter. Will have to pick this up on vinyl as well.
  14. I'll throw money at this band all day long. They're one of the very few.
