  1. I'll probably eventually pick this up, maybe find a coupon for it at some point or something. i have most the albums in there but it's a really cool set. Also...cool Zombie vinyl related fact: I own the original painting used for the Fucking In A UFO single/ the gatefold art for the electric warlock album.
  2. Velvet Revolver - Libertad Slash's Snakepit - Ain't Life Grand
  3. I'm a big hellraiser fan but can't bring myself to pull the trigger on that box. It's a novel idea but, for only 6 singles, it's a giant waste of space. They either should have included like a booklet, poster, etc and charged more to make it feel more substantial or divorced themselves from the idea it had to be the actual cube and just used the designs of it to make a cool 7" set that is only like an inch thick and charged like 20 dollars less.
  4. I know some people here ordered the Elm Street box set. What is the sound quality like on all the records? I', debating on buying it because soundstage direct has a 20% off coupon on vinyl which brings it to 215 shipped.
  5. Finally received the Bad Batch soundtrack the other day. I ordered it in June. They had a lot of issues with the die cut jacket in production so it got delayed and delayed. It came out really nice in the end though.
  6. I like the regular edition better. A clear vinyl with black liquid edition would have been super rad and fitting.
  7. and only 2 and a half years after the initial announcement! Either way, this is the only waxwork release I've been excited for in a while.
  8. If anyone ever comes across a Phantasm test pressing, I would be very interested in buying it off of you.
  9. Picked up the Kills black rooster, twisted Christmas, Cheap Trick Christmas and the Anthrax picture disc.
  10. I think red was euro-indie and an amoeba exclusive in the US fog over antonio bay (blue/white) was US indie exclusive.
  11. did they specifically say it was black or it looked black? because the variant does look black until you hold it up to the light...especially in darker lighting like the merch tables are generally in. they only made 500 so it's quite likely they could have ran out by now.
  12. The autographed 50 dollar version is the variant. Hold it up to the light and it shines like the above picture. They seemed to have plenty when I was at the SF show. Maybe after the show it sold out but if you went up before or during, there were plenty. I got one of them and am very happy to have it.
  13. picked up the indie version at one of my local record stores. They only had one copy left but they had all the promo stuff for it (tote bag, headshot, poster and third man sticker)
  14. It can be looked at as a little thing but it would gradually bother me more and more that the chest of souls is the outer box and the sweater is the inner-box. If you're gonna play that gag, play it correctly otherwise what's the point? Also, it's too much (especially without a set edition size) and I don't need all 8 soundtracks. I'd be happy with individual releases for 1/3/7.
  15. Won the attendee (black & blue split) version of the Kills: live at third man records on ebay this weekend. In stores, I picked up john carpenter's anthology, the new Margo price album (indie version), a few 7" singles and "the collection" by the stranglers.
  16. I'll pick this one up. https://www.facebook.com/TheKills/photos/a.145609220961.142482.115974565961/10155912714705962/?type=3
  17. Amoeba still has them in store, so try their website. freak beat records in Sherman oaks has them in store as well so you can try calling them and buying over the phone.
  18. where was the info posted about tour variants? I picked up the two 12" single tour variants last year and would love to get whatever they offer this year. I am going to the Hollywood and SF shows.
  19. are different 7" being given to different stores? I feel like I've seen a couple different ones.
  20. I picked up both colored versions from Amoeba and noticed on the red one that it was skipping/popping at one point. I want to say it was during the trouble song off the top of my head but I'd have to go back and listen again. Overall it played fine outside of that though and I'm happy to have both.
  21. Really, again? the 7" box for the dead weather singles was like double or triple the size it needed to be. I had to cut out a bunch of squares of foam board to fill it up so the singles wouldn't flop around in there. If true, it seems like the paper engineers that do their packaging are fucking up on creating the die lines for these boxes.
  22. Have this up on eBay right now. It's the rarest of the variants and signed by a good chunk of he cast/crew. Silent Night, Deadly Night from Death Waltz. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Silent-Night-Deadly-Night-Cast-SIGNED-Vinyl-LP-Soundtrack-Death-Waltz-Mondo-400-/292257883633?ssPageName=STRK:MESE:IT
