whoa reacted to unknown pleasures in PO: Imogen Heap - Speak For Yourself Repress (/300 black) Bundles with Ellipse and Baby Songs 7"
Already showed what a class act he was the way he handled the reissue preorders a few months back, holding back the more limited variant until the black sold out.

feel-good story of the day (slash of my life): used two 45-pound plates on top of a thick folded towel (for protection) for a couple of weeks (only because i forgot to check on it). worked about as well as i could've possibly hoped; almost perfectly flat. bless uppppppppp

I too hold hopes for more K-Fly on vinyl.

whoa reacted to Vinyl Fury in Order Now: Kaddisfly - Horses Galloping On Sailboats
I have to imagine that in order to license it, we'd have to end up selling at least a few hundred to break even, and that's just not expected. And hopeless definitely won't do it on their own. Believe me, it's all been talked about several times. If they ever resurrect, it will be talked about again.

whoa reacted to bungie in The Weezer Thread
My guess it's completely sold out because everyone busts nuts over Pinkerton. I ordered a copy, but haven't gotten any emails about it being cancelled.

hey Dan,
big ups for doing this. Also do you see a possibility of vinyl releases of the rest of the trilogy ever get pressed?
Thanks

Yes, this for sure. At least Buy Our Intention and Set Sail.

whoa reacted to Vinyl Fury in Order Now: Kaddisfly - Horses Galloping On Sailboats
I started a topic in the sale/trade thread, but just so all interested parties here are aware:
It appears the internet believes that Kaddisfly's independent debut 'Did You Know People Can Fly?' is out of print and worth asking $30-$50 for. This is untrue, as I have boxes of them in my basement.
I was their tour manager and all around 6th man for years, and I am currently in a band with guitarist Aaron Tollefson (UMBRELLAMAN), and all the leftover merch we had after they entered their hiatus has been in our house for years. There are CD copies of their Hopeless albums, as well as some shirts. But the Did You Know CDs are now available on discogs for $8 - https://www.discogs.com/Kaddisfly-Did-You-Know-People-Can-Fly/release/2728318
You can also email me - [email protected] if you have a shirt size you're interested in or other CDs you want to add and we'll work it out.
Just wanted to let anyone here know who might be interested, as the album is apparently hard to find now.
Cheers,
Dan

whoa reacted to Skacel in HMV Vinyl Week 2017
So far for this year's non-event we have:
Liam Gallagher: As You Were (Picture Disc - 3000 copies)
The former Oasis frontman released his debut album As You Were in October last year and the album will be available as a picture disc for the first time when our exclusive arrives in stores on June 16th.
Siouxsie and The Banshees: Juju (Gold Vinyl - 1000 copies)
First released in 1981, the fourth album from Siouxsie and the Banshees remains one of their finest and includes hits such as 'Spellbound' and 'Arabian Knights'. Our exclusive edition is pressed onto stunning gold vinyl and limited to just 1000 copies.
The Proclaimers: Sunshine on Leith (Green Vinyl - 500 copies)
Scottish duo The Proclaimers released their second studio album in 1988 and Sunshine on Leith and with hits like '500 Miles' it remains their most popular album to date. While the album has released on vinyl before, this is the first time Sunshine on Leith has been available on green wax and our exclusive vinyl is limited to just 500 copies.
Various Artists: Lock, Stock & Two Smoking Barrels OST (Yellow & Black Splatter Vinyl - 1000 copies)
As one of the most well-known British films of the 1990s and the film that launched the career of director Guy Ritchie, Lock, Stock & Two Smoking Barrels needs little introduction and its soundtrack is one of the decade's most iconic, but on June 16th you'll be able to get your hands on this exclusive vinyl edition on yellow & black splatter vinyl.

whoa reacted to Ogrejoyed in Video Game OSTs v2.0
Yeah it sucks that he isn’t taking Paypal.
I bet it sucks even more that you can’t buy it and flip it like you’re flipping the F-Zero release for $125 on Discogs.

The cover for the new pressing looks like a group of preschoolers were handed black construction paper & a pair of scissors.

Went into Turntable Lab today to look at RSD leftovers. Walked out with Hyper Light Drifter and no RSD stuff. Can't say I'm too upset.

whoa got a reaction from Dojo Daniel in Most Ridicuous Thing You Saw on RSD?
The saddle of my bike broke. Bolt snapped right off and nearly obliterated my butt as I went to sit back on it. So didn't actually make it to any stores in the end FFS, but that was silly and shit (and annoying).

Are you asking because you want to post the link or because you need a link? Anyways... no you are not allowed to post links to download music for free on a message board hosted by a music store.
If only there were a Kingdom for Leaks such as this?
