I have the black and white SRC pressing and it’s complete garbage compared to the new one. I’m just waiting for them to quit saying pre-order on their albums so I can use the 15% off coupon I got from astronaut to order downward.

Can’t wait to spin my copies. Everything Matt touches regarding Earth Analog Studios sounds massive. I’m pretty sure SRC just presses from CD straight to vinyl, I remember reading that Matt thought those pressings sounded like absolute trash haha

They’ve always done the Airheads thing.  Other labels sometimes do that too.  Always wondered if it originated with Polyvinyl, or where if from somewhere else.  Anyone know?

We are writing to share an update regarding your Hum pre-order.
With the intended ship date of December 8th approaching, we unfortunately have not yet received everything we need to fulfill orders. All of the vinyl has been pressed, but a couple of variants are in the process of being assembled and then need to be shipped to our office.
In light of this delay, we are adjusting the pre-order ship date to Friday, December 22; however, as more stock arrives we will be continuing to ship out orders daily and hope to get most packages sent out sooner.
We know that you are eager to receive your items and assure you that we are doing everything we can to get them in your hands as quickly as possible.

P.P.S. You might notice the Hum albums in stores on Friday. This is because only the black vinyl was made available to retail and the vinyl we are currently awaiting are the colored variants.
 

I'm not a tax advisor but yes claim a net 0, don't just not fill out the 1099.  You will get a bill in the mail later with fees and penalties for being delinquent (that are possibly more than what you owed).

Did you read the article? The threshold has been eliminated for 2023.
 
You can also fill out the appropriate form to offset the 1099. You cant claim a loss but you can claim a net of 0 to offset the 1099
