  1. I'm a member of the club. 31, wife, 2 kids (2yr daughter and 2mo son), 2 dogs, bald, and turning grey. Wouldn't trade it for anything. I have my friends that I party and go to shows with and friends that have kids and a more "domestic" lifestyle. Best of both worlds for me.
  2. These are a couple gatefolds i've picked up recently: Graveyard - S/T Tragedy - Vengeance (German pressing) Saviours - Into Abaddon Black Cobra - Feather and Stone
  3. Pretty cool list. I would take any of the other songs in the top ten over "Creep", though.
  4. 1. The Gold Torques Of Ulaid - Absu 2. Serving Time In The Middle Of Nowhere - Eyehategod 3. D.W.S.O.B. - Electric Hellfire Club 4. Matando Gueros - Brujeria 5. The Medicined Man - Namanax 6. Hellish Blasphemy - Nifelhiem 7. Skin Peeler - Mortician 8. Give The Human Devil His Due - Mystifier 9. Mom's And Dad's Pussy - Destroy All Monsters 10. Verschleierte Irrelgiositat - Bethleham 11. Suite No. 2 For Solo Cello In D Minor(Prelude) - Mischa Maisky 12. Some Grass - Sleep 13. Jesus Loves Me - Rose Shepard And Ellen M. Smith 14. Gummo Love Theme - Spazz 15. Schuld Uns'res Knoch'rigen Faltpferd - Bethlehem 16. Rundgang Um Die Transzendentale Saule Der Singuaritat - Burzum 17. Equimanthorn - Bathory 18. Smokin' Husks - Dark Noerd 19. Dragonaut - Sleep
  5. There you go. She probably had no idea what she was playing.
  6. wow dude, are you IN slayer? you're taking that pretty defensively. yes, i put them on par with britney spears in terms of musical DEPTH. not TALENT. meaning there's not much too them past intentionally borderline offensive lyrics, and minor variations on the same speed metal riff. sure, those dudes can play fucking fast, and they can shred with the best of them, and dave lombardo is an amazing drummer, but that doesn't mean that they ever deviate from the pattern or actually take musical or stylistic risks. just b/c the dudes in slayer fart doesn't mean they don't take their music way too seriously. if that's blasphemy, then i'm a blasphemer, but i think it's mostly just stating the obvious. Then why click on the thread?
  7. This thread probably draws them all. I'm 31.
  8. Pretty amusing http://www.metalinjection.net/tv/view/661/madonna-covers-pantera---a-new-level
  9. That is such a great list, i'm pissed they're not coming to Denver on this tour. The last time I saw them it was all songs off the first 3 albums. It was cool, but I wasn't that familiar with the material.
  10. I think it's 2 songs, "Flight of the Eagle" and "Bhimas' Theme"
  11. Where did you score that? EDIT: Found it on Vinyl Junkie and picked it up. Sweet.
  12. Word Salad used to play an amazing cover of "Angel of Death" at their shows. I love that song.
  13. Sorry to hear that, Ronnie. Job searches suck. Sounds like it may not be such a bad thing to get away from the new management, though.
  14. Partaking in a couple of these tonight:
  15. I like xfedaykinx's "Your Hand in Mine", and Flicker's "Sleep" picks Off the top of my head I would add Battle of Mice, "Salt Bridge"
