First time released on vinyl courtesy of C/Z Records. Originally released in 1994 on cd/cassette.
Limited to 250 copies. Less than 200 available as I type...
You can pick up Stuntman(less than 90) too. Message or email me and I can save you a buck or so, especially if you buy both.

audmill reacted to WinterFartSteam in PO: Baroness - Purple
This is terrible. I can't believe this is the same band (not all the same members of course) that put out Red album. You could see some progression in Blue record, but it was still a really solid effort. Yellow/Green was meh but tolerable, but this is total garbage. That guitar solo that sounds like a keyboard (or maybe it is a keyboard) around the 4 minute mark is laughable.

Is it me or is that artwork a bit on the rubbish side? I've enjoyed the previous artwork but something about this just doesn't seem quite right and I cant put my finger on it

DATA
This is Shellac's fifth LP. Recording took place sporadically over the past few years at Steve's ELECTRICAL AUDIO studios in Chicago. The record was mastered by Steve Rooke at ABBEY ROAD. There is no comma in 'Dude Incredible'; like Sir Duke or King Friday, for example.
PACKAGING
Both the CD and LP version of Dude Incredible come packaged in a chipboard album jacket with two high gloss, full color monkeys on the front cover. The LP includes a CD of the full album.
QC
Audio quality is paramount, as always, with Shellac. The LP was mastered entirely in the analog domain, using the DMM (Direct Metal Mastering) process. The LPs are being manufactured at RTI in Camarillo, CA, using their HQ-180 system. The pressings are 180 gram audiophile quality.
PROMOTION
Other than the informational sheet you hold in your hand (or virtual hand), this record will have no formal promotion. There will be no advertisements, no press or radio promotion, no e-promotion, no promotional or review copies, no promotional gimmick items, and otherwise no free lunch.
TOURING
The band will continue to play shows or tour at the same sporadic and relaxed pace as always. There is no correlation between shows and record releases.
THE IPODS
Dude Incredible will be available for digital download purchases in formats including full-bandwidth 24-bit files.

audmill reacted to mameeshkamowskwoz in Sleeping Bag - Deep Sleep (Joyful Noise)
The band members are all cousins and their grandmother was dying of cancer when they were in their early teens.
She held on just long enough to knit them all personalized sleeping bags before she died.
... actually I just made that up, but if it was true, you'd probably feel like the world's biggest asshole for awhile.

audmill reacted to 74R in Sleeping Bag - Deep Sleep (Joyful Noise)
Unoriginal/stupid band names are a massive pet peeve of mine. I'm a VIP member and a fan of a lot of Joyful Noise's releases but I have to say that this band name is really stupid.. I've always thought that pointing at random objects in your room and naming your band after them is a terrible way to come up with a name. If you're going to have a band that's around for a few years, do yourself a favor and spend 20 minutes coming up with a name that shows a tiny spark of creativity.

Riddle of Steel rules.
Haven't heard the first Tilts album but I'm backing this for sure.
Hmm, the shipping charge is making no distinction between Canada and the rest of the World. It's charging me the full international shipping charge instead of the reduced Canadian price.

audmill reacted to monsterrod in Robotic Empire + TILTS team up for Kickstarter Campaign (Again) ex-RIDDLE OF STEEL / current TORCHE
First LP was my favorite Kickstarter (I got my pic on the sleeve and a killer hand drawn dinosaur scene). I will be backing again.

Oh! My sleeve made the kickstarter page! I'm famous, ma! I went ahead and put in for the test press package. Of course, I will require a sequel to the dinosaur, rock n roll, malt liquor party.
