Does anyone have a link for
    Alkaline Trio?

Being out of 3000 I didn’t think I’d have this hard a time finding one. Fuck.

I haven’t received a shipping notification yet.  I better email them to ask what’s going on.  It has been over 3 hours since I purchased the record.  Totally unacceptable 🤣

Probably should have left the arbitrary and unnecessary detail that you refuse to wear a mask out of your og post.  Anyone with half a brain could have seen this coming.

Teaming up with SBÄM again, this time we bring you the (covers) record of the summer! Teaming up with SBÄM again, this time we bring you the (covers) record of the summer! Rehasher are BACK with Tasty Slices Vol. 1, a full length LP of covers! Spoiler Alert, this is Roger from Less Than Jake swapping his bass for a guitar and singing fast, uber catchy punk rock. Featuring Gainesville shredders Tony Farrah on bass and Alex Klausner on drums. The LP features exquisite covers of classics like "Next To You" by The Police, "And Your Bird Can Sing" by The Beatles, and "Jungle Love" by Steve Miller Band. Some unexpected highlights include "1901" by Phoenix and "Shapeshifter" from the Josie and the Pussycats soundtrack. Of course, fans of Me First And The Gimme Gimmes or Punk Rock Factory will fall in love with the pop punk approaches to classics originally by Green Day, Screeching Weasel, & Osker. Basically what we're trying to say is... you're in for ten tracks of pure fun.

Agreed. The whole thing screams of people who aren't used to getting what they want/their own way.

Happy to finally own this. If I had missed out, i'd keep an eye on the second hand market until one appeared for a decent price or a trade.

Why not just ask nicely if they can ship it in a box if you buy it? I don't understand the entitlement / attitude in the wording. Why is this so funny?

Don't forget Ebay charges the 12.5% fee on the shipping you charge also. For someone like me in Canada where it costs $20 to ship a record that's another couple dollars in fees. They also charge a 0.4% fee for "international orders" when I ship to the US. AND they charge provincial and federal tax on the fee.
I just checked my last sale of a record and it was 15.88% in fees.

I had this happen a few months ago. Buyer paid for a record and before I shipped it said they found it cheaper and wanted to cancel. I said sure - I'll refund you minus the fees that I don't get back. They threw a fit and filed an item not received paypal claim so I just shipped the record, won the claim. They messaged me after they got it asking why I shipped it after they asked me to cancel the order. I told them because they filed a claim that they never received the item.

I only sell 2 or 3 things a month but I've had no issues with this. Money always shows up in my account within a few days of shipping them. I sell on ebay more than discogs only because of Ebay's Global Shipping Program. It makes it so much easier for me (and unfortunately so much more expensive for the buyer) to ship overseas. I do miss having my Paypal balance that I used for purchases so that my wife had no idea what I was buying especially since prices for some things have gotten so out of hand this past year.

I've been selling on eBay for years and this wasn't a big deal to me. The setup was a kind of a pain but I've gotten used to not getting paid right away. I do much prefer selling on Discogs though since listing on eBay takes so much longer.

Yeah, the requirement to put shipping amounts by weight/location is pretty awful. I just made it super expensive for international and put in my notes to either message me before or that I'll refund the difference after. The nice thing is people will often message before and can just have them paypal and avoid fees/taxes.

After being hesitant to switch over and give ebay all that info I did it a few months ago and I like it better. Ebay lets you know when the person has paid, takes their cut and puts it in your bank account the next day.

No? Ebay tells you when they've paid that you should ship.

What's the difference in whether its ebay or paypal siding with the buyer? It's actually kind of surprising that its taken this long since Paypal spun off as its own company like 6 years ago.

Oh no the sky is falling! I've been using this for months now and beyond the initial "where's my money?" confusion there's no difference or reason to complain. This is actually faster than manually transferring to my bank after it goes in PayPal anyways.
