Wrt to the vinyl, Through Love Records indicates "late summer". I'm guessing late September, early October at this point.

Nah, having an ethical core comes naturally to me. You see, I enjoy not being a degenerate. It's actually really fucking simple. Just, don't be a POS or an enabler of POS. Try it on for size, some time, yourself. See how the rest of your life pans out after. You might like it too. -

IDK, you tell us. It took decades (and for him to die first) for Jimmy Saville's 589 victims to be recognized and that's despite how "pedo-scare"-prone UK media & culture often is and how quickly people there are willing to assume the worst based on insinuation. And yet, somehow, Saville was the Teflon Don of pedo-accusations, all of which were apparently warranted. Amazingly delusional to think backlash works uniformly across all contexts, or that it should. Can I invite you to have a grip on reality, to avoid such delusional presumptions about how the world works/ought to work? -

I literally gave you a list of artists who did precisely that. You even quoted me listing them. And yet your brain forces you to wipe them away from your reply, somehow. Like, what's your damage? In your bid to try to uphold Adams as a victim, you're going to callously dismiss all the musicians who've worked hard (in DM's case, including kicking heroin FFS) to achieve mental wellness? That's... Pathological avoidance of reality. That's a "you" problem. You should fix that. By talking to a professional. Again, you're being wilfully blind/obtuse. This is classic enablement you're practicing. It's so fucking toxic. Stop pretending you can minimize a clear pattern of reckless and toxic behaviour that's been documented over decades. Hell, why don't you take 15 minutes and browse every Pitchfork article detailing Adams many instances of public meltdowns rather than Doublethinking all those moments away, as if they never existed because it's easier for you to pretend, today, that none of it happened? -

Lol I'm sorry you don't see how bi-polar tier delusional you're being here tbh. You're asking me to grow up but also telling me to go chide everyone in a Bowie thread because you're in your feels about people trash-talking your fave artist. Peak loser achieved. Imagine having an adult grasp on reality/causation/arrow-of-time enough to realize that Adams' 38th public meltdown is happening presently and that these sad attempts at whataboutism doesn't do shit to obscure of deflect from that? Like I said, be consistent and go hop into every thread of every artist known to have done something above the pale yourself first and foremost or forever STFU. Lead by example if you want any one to do as you say. Understand? -

LMAO what utter horseshit. Oh I'm sorry we all forgot to relitigate everyone before we talk about Ryan Adams on *checks notes* a Ryan Adams thread. Weird that you didn't mention The Nudge and Gary Glitter yourself. Are those omissions enough for us to call you out as a hypocrite, given your terms or do you think you should avoid being held account according to the standards you've set out for everyone else? -

Really? Are you actually this deluded, to think a grad-level formulation like that is in any real way an indication of me having not grown up? Precisely, how? Maybe consider the fact that you're exemplifying the very same persecution-complex I've described, and maybe are not self-aware enough to understand that, before you post your obviously triggered rebuttal? One of the symptoms of persecution complex is getting inordinately triggered on behalf of others (that you might have a misplaced overidentification for). And there are plenty of maladjusted young musicians who grow and age into mental wellness. Look at Nick Cave, Thom Yorke, Tom Waits, everyone in Depeche Mode, etc., etc. the list is long tbh so spare me the "genius and madness are bedfellows" argument. It's trite, and cliché AF. Nothing is more immature than still being hung up on/a mark for that 27 Club mythos. -

Some of us wish that the guy that self-pityingly (but also honestly) sung "Screw all my friends/They're all full of shit/With a smile on your face/And then do it again/I wish you would" over 20 years ago would have grown and matured out of that self-destructive behaviour, especially given the access to mental health that comes with money & fame. Some of us don't sit around and justify or rationalize such behaviour in others. Some of us have decided to avoid being experts at enablement and don't confuse compassion with it. Some of us have grown the fuck up and expect others to do the same. *emoji shrug* -

In other news, 46-year old POS finds that his "friends" are fickle AF as a result of the fact that POS tend to attract one another. Who knew??? -

White dudes and their persecution complexes. That 500-plus year-old toxic Protestant legacy is hard to shake off when it's a core attribute of self-definition. -
I know many parents who banned the show from their household once their kids started talking to them with British accents LMAO.

Charts haven't mattered for years. And your argument was no other band fills stadiums. Arguing chart placement is not the same argument. Because the obvious conclusion of that argument is that Migos or [insert non-white musicians performing non-rock music here] outsell Coldplay easily. U2 can't make it to charts because they haven't been relevant for over 20 years now. Apples and oranges comparison. Muse and Coldplay are peers. Apples to apples comparison.

Video Game OSTs v2.0
OneThreeOneTwo replied to DecayToDeath's topic in Vinyl Collective Message Board
Why aren't you sure? The cryptic marketing is annoying, sure, but the clues are obvious. This is Oxenfree OST. The only other thing it could be is a remix album of the OST or some "Oxenfree Sessions" of music not used in the game, but I highly doubt it's either of those things.- 3,740 replies

Ash keeps selling out everywhere. But I'm glad I got The Durutti Column & the R. Stevie Moore boxset both from Piccadilly.
