A trick I've had luck using when moving it from 45 to 33 (which is the harder of the two) is to start on the left side, insert an extended finger, and roll it slowly around the wheel while also moving it upward. I slip it onto the 33 setting and keep moving my finger right—hard to describe in text. It's a pain for sure but I've had luck with that method. I also turn the table on for ~15 seconds to kind of reset the belt.

I honestly don't know, but I DO like them. It doesn't really make sense, like why it's so sought after. I think it has to do with a physical connection, on some subconscious level.

Got my blue with kind of swirly silver. It's beautiful, especially when held up to the light––looks very coastal in a wood-and-water kind of way. The lyric booklet and print are also really well done and engaging. Secretly knocked it out of the park on this one.
 
Also, album is great. There's a lot of really unique instrumentation/songwriting, but it's still very much a Phoebe album.
