  1. Crazy, eh? Well, Canadian orders are shipped first class international, while US orders are shipped via media mail. This could explain how he received his order before you. Plus, Toronto is a lot closer to NYC than Texas is. If you're really concerned about your order, email RJ. He can give you the tracking number for your order.
  2. Media mail can take awhile. You can always email RJ for a delivery confirmation number.
  3. I believe RJ said afternoon, not after noon. There's still time dudes

  6. Yeah, I can believe Generation didn't make the list. Lame.
  7. the thing with not participating in a pre-order is that nowadays you won't be able to get the record without pre-ordering it somewhere. unless you want to pay ebay prices. often times a record sells out during the pre-order, and if you didn't pre-order it you're shit out of luck. I totally understand that, but caveat emptor--let the buyer beware. People assume certain risks when pre-ordering a record they know the label does not have in hand. These risks can include multiple delays outside of the label's control.
  8. If you don't like the process, don't participate in the pre-order. It's as simple as that.

  11. From Triple Crown's twitter (https://twitter.com/3crown): Make The Clocks Move re-issue out 10/12; re-mastered w/bonus tracks, liner notes by Kevin & Jesse Lacey and more. Our buddies @AFSRecords will be doing a limited run of vinyl for re-issue
  12. Thanks! No worries, glad it could go to another collector. To be honest, I had a hard time parting ways with that record (and several others I'm selling), but I really need the money at the moment.

  15. I think they're only available at local Scion events. The bands featured on the 7"s have all played the free Scion A/V Garage shows at the Knitting Factory in Brooklyn. More info here: http://www.scionav.com/music/scionavgarage/index.html#about1
  16. If AFS did that, people would be bitching about the vinyl colors changing (more so than simply another delay). So bottom line, you're damned if you do, you're especially damned if you work with brand new.
  17. Bitter End are some solid dudes/band from Tejas! Jason is a good friend of mine.
  18. Stood in line for an hour and a half today, got my phone, and it rules! Saw one of Adam Sandler's people picking up a phone today too
