During a Q&A before the Afghan Whigs show last night, Dulli mentioned that the box set release is "imminent". He said they're all remastered and the covers are reimagined versions of the originals. He said the box set includes everything, including the stuff he didn't want us to previously hear. Due to the normal vinyl production issues, they had to prioritize getting the new Whigs LP pressed first. One Little Indian/Independent is handling it.

If anyone here has not seen this band live, I say this with no hyperbole implied - they are the best live band out there these days.  Insanely good.

I had the last one in the store in my hands but ended up giving it to this girl who was inconsolably in tears when the shop owner told her they were all gone. I overheard the conversation & just broke my heart. The girl is the same age as my niece & reminded me immensely of her. It was obvious she’s more hardcore Swiftie than I & not a flipper. She started crying even more when I gave her the 7”.

I believe they intend to keep all the Tone Poets and Classics in print, more or less, butpressing plants are so backed up right now that represses are slowly trickling in. Some of the early BN Classics titles are being restocked at a variety of vendors, e.g., Lee Morgan's Sidewinder.

Was able to grab one a couple days ago from Plaid Room. Thank you though.
 
For anyone still on the hunt for these I've noticed a lot of UK shops still have them but between conversion rates and shipping it ends up being just as expensive as flipper prices.

On second thought, Newbury has everything marked up. Think I'll roll the dice at a different store later in the day.

I know people love the original 4, but other than her input to Billy on songs/production, D’arcy isn’t anything extraordinary to the band performance wise. 
 
never got the hang up on always needing her. Melissa was a better addition IMO.

Yeah, the new single is decent. Gonna wait to hear more before pulling the trigger though. The last one wasn't very good at all, love the rest of their discography though so hoping for a turnaround.
