No clue how I missed that entry. The barcode listed there doesn't match mine though. My concern is that my copy has the EE cover and inner sleeve, not the self-titled cover, so would it be listed under the Evil Empire master list. What information presides when making an entry? The cover barcode number, the runouts, or the LP labels? I'm still a little confused.

Sorry to bump an old topic, but I didn’t want to start a new thread. Does anyone have any insight on adding a mispress/misprint to Discogs? I recently acquired what should be a 1996 pressing of Rage Against The Machine’s Evil Empire. The cover and inner printed sleeve match the original pressing. The actual LP is the 1992 self-titled pressing with matching runouts. However, the Side 1 label is Evil Empire and Side 2 is self-titled. Would this be classified as a "Mispress" or "Misprint"? (Seeing as how it has an incorrect label and it was a '92 self-titled pressing in a '96 Evil Empire cover, I am guessing it is a misprint. Correct me if I am wrong.) Would this be listed under Evil Empire master list? For the tracklist, do I enter what the actual tracks are (self-titled) OR do I enter what the Side 1 & 2 labels read? The Discogs submission guidelines reads like a fucking Terms of Service, so I gave up there. Anyone have any pointers for what I should or should not enter for this release listing?

I'm thinking the same thing. @smailtronic I wonder if you can paw through a few of those to see if they have any writing on them. I know some Victory Records test presses have "VR---" written in pen in an upper corner of the sleeve.

I think that we really need to answer the following questions: - Who will officially bid on the auction(s)? - Will that person be able to pay for the auction in full upon winning? (The last thing I would want to do here is have someone stuck with a $5,000 invoice with no way to pay for it) - Will that person be able to pick up an entire pallet of boxes? (Do they have a truck, van, car? The pick up date is Thursday the 10th, starting at 8am and must be fully claimed by 12/31. There is info about rigging/removal to presumably take the pallet from the 5th floor to a loading dock.) - How long will it take to sort through all of the boxes? (Hell, I could possibly host a video chat while the person opens the boxes and shouts out the items, catalog numbers to me and I put them in the Google Doc.)

Let us know what you find. I can put together a catalog of what is on the pallets. I'd be interested to see what's in that case with miscellaneous test presses. Of course they are likely all unlabeled and you'd need to go by runout numbers. I'm wondering if those are older test presses though. I agree with @V3XED that this will be a logistical nightmare. If I lived in or near Chicago I would be happy to assist in person, but alas, I am in NY. That being said, I can help virtually and do some additional research, cataloging, potential values of which items to be resold, keeping track of who invested how much, etc.
