Funny, you must be buds with Relapse. Plenty of people asked via email AND phone in advance if this was indeed a color press, they said yes to get the orders. THEN claimed they "didn't know" after they had their money. Fact of the matter is they sold an item that was not what it was....and they were dicks to deal with along the way. So I'll stand up and be pissed with this case any day. Relapse is a great example of why people stop buying music. I've dealt with so many great labels/distros who are real good to deal with...not cool. I have to cry some more now.

Interesting.....they claim they have no way of telling what color the vinyl is....if they ship outside of the sleeve, then they are totally aware. I'll be opening my dispute immediately.

While sort of true, it's always the record company's job to provide quality product. If there's quality issues, a label needs to identify it and correct it. So it IS a record company issue as well.

Just spoke to them via email, and they have no definite answer...the only thing they said was "the label told them that it was". Basically going off soft information. When I told them I only ordered this because of it being color (already have a Black), they essentially said tough luck - you can mail it back and get store credit only. Horseshit. I'm out return shipping and only have store credit. I'm going to wait til it comes, and if it is Black, they are getting a Mastercard dispute opened and I will get my $ and shipping back. Simple lesson for anyone selling something - if you don't know what it is for sure, then don't advertise it as being a certain way. It's a prickjob thing to do.
