  1. I can't be impartial to these guys, love them. They have just released a single and it's great (btw the Bandcamp version is the album version, almost 1 minute longer and better IMHO).

I was really hoping these reissues would have all the b-sides and extras that were received digitally on the box set.  I would absolutely buy reissues if they ever included those on the albums

If these sell well they might reissue Gala and Topolino. Not repressing Gala hurts, it's an amazing compilation.

They should be available everywhere, although colored versions may be exclusive to some retailers.

The initial date of 11 August is now confirmed.

Edit: more colors available in Bandbox (never heard of it, but it's a US shop it seems)

  4. With an expected release date of 8/11/2023, multiple Lush vinyl reissues are available now at amoeba.com. All the albums will be available in both black and clear vinyl. Links below.

Must be quite recent, it does not even appear in the 4AD website. Still no news of availability outside US.

  5. More variants, which seem to be available in most online stores (at least in Europe, so far showing at Resident and Norman, UK):

I'm going to need to listen to this single a few more times. Listened once and did not really get a good vibe from it. Honestly, it felt a bit structurally messy for being just piano and voice which is an odd gripe for me to have because I generally appreciate non-traditional song structures. I'm open minded to what is happening here but it did not grab me immediately. I think the completely non-ambient deadened vocal mic  production technique did not do the overall track any favors but that's just personal preference. Honestly, I'm concerned the entire album is going to be just piano and voice. If that is the case, I really hope it makes good use of that minimalism.

I still haven't fully digested or bought On Dark Horses.

Emma said the album is very raw, instrumentally speaking. Just piano, guitar and voice. Her structures are getting more and more complex, On Dark Horses is a very good example of that. It's an amazing album but not the easiest, at all. Very rewarding once you get used to it.

  8. Hey there,

Trying to change my display name but getting this when clicking on the setting:

[[Template core/front/global/error is throwing an error. This theme may be out of date. Run the support tool in the AdminCP to restore the default theme.]]

Seems like I don't have permission to do that, although there is an option to change the display name.

    Can anyone help?

    Thanks.

Man, this Pop pressing sounds loads better than the original. Low end is perfectly deep. Vinyl is flat and quiet, clean and heavy (sticker says pressed in Germany - maybe Pallas?).

Gonna have to order ATYCLB now because my original was purchased used and there is some wear on it.

Wow, my impressions are very different. It sounds muddy as f***, on some songs it gets a bit better but Discotheque for example sounds terrible. Being honest, it never sounded great even in the CD. Looking forward to reading more opinions on this...
