Broken Field Runner is the brainchild of Anthony Bucci, who spent years fronting the melodic hardcore band Caleb Lionheart. Bucci had been writing songs influenced by Conor Oberst, Chris Conley, and Laura Jane Grace that were not fit for Caleb Lionheart, so he decided to release them under a new moniker. Hey dude - I haven't heard of anyone else having this problem, but with any color vinyl - especially 180 gram they tend to be more sensitive to sound quality issues. This record was extremely hard to cut given all the different dynamics involved, but we spent a ton of time and money trying to dial it in the best we could.
