  4. Awesome! Chicago is definitely on the list for December! Originally we were supposed to make it up in November but scheduling didn't work out.
  5. Thanks man, it's been a long time coming and we couldn't be more excited to finally have this in our hands. With that said we are halfway done writing the next LP that hopefully shouldn't take as long to come out.
  6. Mike who runs encapsulated just arrived home from a month long tour in Europe. So once he gets settled in and as long as the vinyl ship date doesn't get pushed back it should be VERY soon! Thanks!

  8. Definitely a great experience to have with one of my favorite bands. I've seen them 5 times since 2003 and every single time most if not all of the band meets with fans after the show by their bus. Here's my copy. One last neat story about this, Smith heard me singing to "Love Is A Many Splendored Thing" when they played it. After the show he and Davey asked me if I was coming to any of the other dates on the tour, if I was they would let me sing it with them. This being a once in a lifetime opportunity I take them up on the offer. I had to work for the next two days so after the second day myself and two friends drove overnight after work from Nashville to Tampa. Of course however I become sick with a cold, running a temperature, throat completely pins and needles. At this point though nothing is stopping me and sure enough halfway through the set I'm invited on stage and go for it. Needless to say I was nervous as fuck and sorta flubbed the lyrics at the end. Still a dream come true and 100% worth it. How does all this tie together? On the Nashville date Smith signed the 7" and wrote "Next time you sing!" and sure enough it happened. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lrkyYqHj61o
  9. Stoked Nitro is showing this some love. Interested in these "deluxe" releases also down the road. I learned some interesting facts about this specific release when I met Davey on the Crash Love tour a few years back. I was able to work the show and help the band's crew load in. Towards the end of the night after loading them out and meeting Smith I was invited to hang out with Davey privately for a bit. Having previously hoped for this situation I brought my copy of of the "All Hallows" 7" to get the band to sign. Sure enough I was given the opportunity and when Davey saw the record for whatever reason he was really taken back by it as if he hadn't seen it in some time. I had some questions about the vinyl release, primarily being why the jacket was printed on literal copy paper! He laughed and responded telling me that "Nitro did not want to release this on vinyl AT ALL and we fought to have it pressed. Finally when they agreed they did it as cheap as they could." Who would've thought that this specific record would end up being one of their most sought after releases on wax? Also anyone else a little bummed that they're repressing it on orange?
  10. Friend just texted me and said there's about 8 people outside of Grimey's. Can't hate, though I admit it must suck being out in the rain. Might swing by both places in a bit.
  11. Heads up for anyone attending "The Liquid-Filled Record™ will be $100 and the laser-cut lace will be $20. The “Sixteen Saltines” 12-inch single will be $10 while the “Hand Springs” and “Milk and Honey” swirl vinyl will be $8 each."
  12. Just picked this up at Grimey's in Nashville for $14 on clear vinyl. So glad I held out. 3/4 of the way through it and it's pretty fucking intense.
  13. I live minutes away from 3rd man. I will be making a strong attempt at acquiring these items.
  14. Waiting to get it at my local record store as I did with the recent Earth LP. So excited to get it though!

  16. Just posted via facebook "Attention Collectors: Exclusive colors of the GIVE UP THE GHOST (AN) vinyl reissues will be available at the shows in Boston and LA."
  17. Chris posted this on the B9 regarding II, and III. "Hah, it's all good man, bring 'em on. Yeah, that's exactly it. One has no conflicts, and I'm working on a reissue with DWI this week for the near future. I really want to do a box set but yeah, it's not Goodfellow but the people behind them who own it want to neither use it nor lose it, and want some money for the it that they otherwise have no plans for, if someone does want to move it in any direction. But if/when it gets resolved it would be I,II,III and a fourth LP with the demo, Blackout, BBC and Hell Comes Home EPs on it."
  18. '>http://www.deathwishinc.com/news/#658 Small mention during the introduction of the new Chris Colohan interview. Stoked.
  19. There's apparently 11 in Nashville, going this afternoon to look for one.
