I'm guessing outside of maybe the people who got in with the BullMoose presale that we all might be screwed with online orders.

VF doesn't sell direct yet. So they won't have any. I'd be fairly surprised if PJ put any up since McCready would only be getting at most 25 of them if that number is true. Have they ever sold anything in that small of quantity before? I find that 150 for the artists rumor impressive if true. I mean it is boxsets, not single 10"s. That's a ton of $$ the label is giving away on top of the promo boxes we know exist from their FB pictures. But it seems like VF has never put out albums just for the $$, so if anyone might do it it is them.

VF just distributes through Think Indie which works with a ton of local shops. But most of their releases end up for sale at online shops as well. I'd expect these to pop up at a few of the choice stores online similar to the last SKM and Eluvium 10" they sold around black friday. Even the McCready was available online through a few shops. VF has already said that these wont be available directly through them but they do plan on having an online store for new items later this year (like for the represses of all of their soundtracks). As for how many of these boxes end up available, it appears that at least 19 promo copies made on top of the 500 from a photo posted on facebook. Also a warehouse on ebay is selling around 40 copies of the McCready clear vinyl from this box. So there are definitely more than 500 clear of each record out there so hopefully all of them get out to shops.

I would hope anyone who got an order in before they even announced it on Twitter (around 11:30) will actually get it. Bullmoose always seems to get a good share of Vinyl Film releases. The link was posted on SadReminders at 10:42 so who know how long it was actually up before then. But i doubt most people knew about it until it hit here and then it was removed very shortly after they posted on twitter.

My shop has it in their system now too. Apparently Think Indie just updated their info.

Bullmoose just announced this on their twitter feed a few minutes ago. So hopefully most of us got our orders in before that.

Slept through it too. Oh well. I'd imagine R&R will be available a bunch of places online domestically. So we should have more opportunity to get that in places other than Rough Trade. I get that Moon was RSD only so they would only have the 70 or whatever they said they were going to sell online. But i don't know why they wouldn't have had a huge supply of R&R.

There has never been the same demand for Koz live albums the way there is for a regular SKM lp. So I figured 2k of these would be around for quite a while. Hell even the limited to 900 black version of Perils was up on Soundstage for many many months after it came out. It also seems anything sold exclusively through Caldo Verde sells out super fast too.

I have the original black and pink presses of UTP, a couple different OG Earthquakes, Choirgirl, and Pele. I stopped collecting after that. Most of those records I actually got for free. I was on craigslist a few years back looking for last minute Tori tickets for a local show and someone had a post saying that they wanted to give away their Tori vinyl collection for free to a fan. The post was up for a few days so i figured they were long gone, but i responded to it and she said nobody else replied so they were mine. We met up and I ended up with her first awful LP, UTP and LE as well as 5 or 6 7"s. The nice things was that i already had UTP and LE but her copies were not only sealed but also different versions. That was the nicest/strangest thing that has happened to me vinyl related. Anyhow those first few LPs (starting with LE) are great and I'm glad that they are readily available again. And I second a Scarlet's Walk press.

They deduct vat when you checkout so that may be your price difference.

Totally got confused. Too many Koz related releases all of a sudden. I forgot that Rock & Roll isn't a RSD release and What's Next to the Moon is. So Rough Trade is the label for R&R? May just have to order it then. Got this confused with Whats Next...

The new limited to 2k Koz releases seem relatively easy to get. I know this is RSD in the states, but I'll wait for the label preorder. And if i miss it I doubt i'll pay much more than this if I'm patient. I order from Rough Trade a lot and they are really great expect for those flimsy UK mailers they use which cause bends or seem splits in almost every order I've received.

Anyone know when this thing is actually out? My amazon order got delayed and it said it would be cancelled if they don't get it by 4/16. I'm used to delays on amazon but not cancellation notices. And i noticed other online retailers have it still as a preorder, but a post on Bang Records website from a few weeks ago says it was available.

Flipping is obviously annoying but it is what it is and like with ticket scalping it is too hard if not impossible to stop. And honestly it probably helps some smaller labels because flippers help them sell out of hyped items very quickly. So a lot of labels probably approve of it from a business standpoint. But am i missing where he secured 7 copies? Unless he ordered one from 4ad direct i don't see how he is guaranteed any. I guess that may be why he only has 1 of 7 up for sale? Also none of the other places seem to charge cards in advance so that whole "paying interest" thing is nonsense.

dumb question but they seem to still charge VAT when shipping to the US. Is that normal?

Hopefully that Squally guy who works for them can let us know what is going on. Odd that they'd put it back up with the # of orders they got the first time it was up. They couldn't possibly get more than that for a pressing this small could they?

I thought the same thing being worried about ending up with 3or 4 of these. But even if so it should be real easy to unload them. CDUniverse said that they got over 60 orders the first day and it is also the #1 seller on Acoustic Sounds so the demand is there (and outside of the people who visit here and Sad Reminders I doubt they even know about those preorder places). But I think as it is RSD only in Europe that will be where it is really high in demand after it gets released.

It'll be interesting for all of us who ordered RHP boxsets from a bunch of different vendors assuming it won't come through to end up with 3 or 4 of them and a $600 extra on our cc bill that month.

I ordered one around 11:30 Eastern yesterday morning from acoustic. Out of curiosity when did you get yours in? Just wondering where i may be in line.
