New To Records. Looking for ID help please

Just wondered what people think about numbering of limited editions? I have number 00001 of Peter Gabriel's Up (the 45rpm half speed remasters).... it's a "limited" run of 10 000. So not exactly limited. But still, does a number one of something like that mean much? Thanks! Be nice, first time here
