  1. Well the first part is emprirically false, given your whiny posts where you’re blatantly giving more than a few fucks. the second part can be helped by learning to read and not being a lazy, whiny, impatient dillhole
  2. Well quit being a fucking dork. Not following how he’s a dickhead because he got his record and has basic reading comprehension skills and the motivation to read a few Facebook posts. He has has his copy. I have my copy. You are a fucking dork. These events are not mutually exclusive. They can exist on the same timeline, genius. Personally i I would email Matt like 6 times, file a PayPal claim, go to the bar he works at, buy a beer from him, and then not tip him. Hell, maybe don’t even pay. This fucking guy owes you a record now.
  3. He’s NOT having it, guys. How entitled can you come off in one paragraph? Good luck copping that attitude with Pelagic. I'm definitely sure they aren't trying to "palm" anything off on you, and I'm pretty sure they're not even trying to "pawn" the other variant off on you, sounds to me like they're trying to fulfill your order in an appropriate manner given the unfortunate circumstances. Get a refund if the variant they have doesn't look good enough displayed on your shelf. I'd bet money the music on the record is the same though, if you didn't know the actual point is to listen to these colorful frisbees.
  4. Love this lil ep, love pretty much everything Lunn does. Probably my favorite active bm project. i also love that lunn looks exactly as you’d imagine him looking based on reading his liner notes and interviews. Just so cool in a really dorky way. It’s funny how thin the line is between him and 4chan neckbeard cringe.
  5. S’alright. That’s the Spirit was better imo, so far. Maybe some time to let it sink in will help, but it seems pretty shallow so idk
  6. Interesting to see how they'll do without Rostam. I always suspected he was the most talented force in that band. Ezra's said that they still collaborate the same as they did when he was an official member though, so we'll see. Also interested to see if they'll continue down the more avant leaning path I can see them going down and creating something really special and unique sometime relatively soon.
  7. Okay I didn't listen to their first album extensively so idk if I'm missing something but this song is a massive leap forward and some crazy meshing of styles is going on here. the first couple minutes I wasn't sure of with the borderline over-singing, but holy fuck, taken as a whole that was impressive.
  8. I think the colored box will definitely fetch some $$$ upon release, for sure. It will be interesting to see how it plays out.
  9. but... yes. Aftermarket will certainly tank on the OGs but down to $20 a pop? C'mon, now.
  10. Not if you wanted the box set more than the OG's! You are holding onto like $700 worth of wax there, though.
  11. S’all gone. I snagged a yellow. If anyone has buyers remorse on the blue I’ll take it off your hands and cancel my order!
  12. I am so god damn fucking ready for this album. From DT's Facebook: " Over the past few years, the success that Devin has slowly worked for has fortunately come with the power to control his own creative destiny. The recent successes with the DVD from a sold-out Royal Albert hall, or his 2012 ‘Retinal Circus’, or last year’s ‘Ocean Machine’ live DVD with the Orchestra and Choir of State Opera Plovdiv has put him in a position where with the new album ‘EMPATH’, he will once and for all define himself as a musical force outside of any particular genre classification. On this album Devin has decided to see what would happen if all the styles that make up his current interests were finally represented in one place. To finally shake the fear of expectation, and just do what it is he was meant to do creatively, EMPATH, true to the name, is about allowing the audience a feeling for a variety of musical emotions. The musical dynamics represented on this single album are broad, challenging, and immense. To approach this sort of work with a long history of what makes heavy music ‘heavy’, allows this to be done with a type of power rarely heard. Joining Devin on this album is Frank Zappa alumni Mike Keneally as music director, as well as Morgan Ågren (Mats And Morgan, Frank Zappa, Fredrik Thordendal), Anup Sastry (Monuments, Periphery), Samus Paulicelli (Decrepit Birth, Abigail Williams), Nathan Navarro, Elliot Desagnes, Steve Vai, Chad Kroeger, Anneke Van Giersbergen, Ché Aimee Dorval, Ryan Dhale and the Elektra Women’s Choir. A bold statement with massive production values and dynamic, uncompromised musicality. This is a statement about not only pursuing creative freedom in a conservative scene, but also trying to show that heavy music is truly a valid musical tool." Preorders also up on this site, EU as well. I might order from here anyway though and see what else comes out. I want that shirt bundled with the blue so hard. Nice and clean color that matches well. https://www.omerch.eu/shop/devintownsend/
  13. Email them again and you should file a claim, he's scamming you. Fucking asshole cant even mail 2000 records in a week. What a sloth. On topic: God damn I love this record, it sounds so full and has such a nice dynamic range. It sounds markedly better than digital. Off topic: I love the "laugh" react button here, it's such a passive aggressive way of saying "lol u a fuckin idiot" without having to type anything. Someone bitching about shipping here? Boom, laugh react. Someone offers their colored Duster box set they ordered by "accident" up for OG pressings of all 3 of their releases? Boom, laugh react. Y'all some dummies.
  14. Yo I never knew this guy made good shit post gallows, I gotta dig into his stuff. this new track sounds like qotsa had homme not decided he was the second coming of Elton John and disappeared up his own ass
  15. FWIW, I got the new starburst variant of Homesick from bullmoose. Haven’t seen shit about it otherwise.
  16. I did check today and saw. That cover is rough. The record itself looks very nice though.
  17. Gonna let go of the print, don’t really have a use for it, so have at it. This record shall never leave my grasp though. Jay Ryan art print
