Anyone got any updates on Sailorwave? I've messaged Neoncity numerous times since January and they haven't responded to me once, would really like to know what's going on cos the lack of communication is kinda sketching me out lol

Same. I can appreciate that these guys are great musicians, extremely talented, but without Doug I don't find them particularly interesting.

Why exactly does it bother people when there's a bunch of variants?  Like, how does it take away from the music? Legitimately curious because yeah it's excessive, but what is the specific reason it's not about the music? I could see it annoying variant collectors, but they weren't variant collecting "about the music" to begin with.

See I wasn’t a big fan of DIVISI. Compared to Conversation Piece and No Place I thought it was lacking something. DIVISI has a couple good songs but as a whole it’s pretty boring imo. Especially compared to their other material.

if it wasn’t for the group buys, there would be little to no discussion in here so I dunno what all the crying is about.
@EHughes527 goes out of his way to plan these and doesn’t have to at all. it’s not like he’s making money off it, if anything, he’s using up his own free time to pack, ship, and communicate with labels so people can have a chance at a better price for vinyl that is typically quite expensive.

Personally, I prefer everything in this one thread. Whenever I see it bumped, it's either a new release or a group buy, both of which I'm interested in checking out. It's not like this is a Brand New thread with any and everything being posted in it... Just my two cents.

Nah, there's so few vaporwave vinyl buyers, why create yet another location to look. It's why there's a VW thread, and not new threads for every single release. Eyes are on here, so thats where the discussions take place. 
 
Additionally, I would argue that folks are not buying FROM me, they are buying WITH me. 
I'm not buying stock to sling. It's an all or nothing endeavor, where as a group we pull our resources for savings. I'm just the only one who said, "Sure, I'll organize it."

When most of the vapor vinyl happens to come from countries other than the US, the group buys are definitely welcome. I'm actually a little shocked one guy took it upon himself to round up buyers, contact labels, collect payments correctly and pack up 30 records every so often, simply because he wants to spread it out. Maybe he gets a free record or something but in any case I applaud all his effort.

Why is it that both you, your friend and Todd have never heard of transferring PayPal funds to expense accounts/keeping cashflow/liquidity for shipment? No matter what you say, he was ill-prepared since Dragon Soul. Maybe he thought since OESB had slowed to a trickle in terms of release schedule that he would expect slow and steady sales or something? That's the most benefit of the doubt I can give the guy.
Again, for the record, I first paid him on January 28th, 2017. Check that with the two replies above me and tell me again about how horrible PayPal is when Todd had just about 15 months to transfer that money to a safe and secure bank account. Dying to see what other excuse you got for the guy.

After a quick search I was surprised to see no thread existed for this yet. Next Friday Casey is releasing their second full length through Hassle Records. Fans of Being As An Ocean, Counterparts, Departures, Crooks, and other bands that lean towards melodic hardcore will probably enjoy this. I have already received a shipping confirmation from Music Glue, so these should be shipping out right away / on the release date. Their previous release, Love Is Not Enough, was a lyrical masterpiece so I'm excited to see how this record follows up.

merchbar is a scam like this. they have tons of OOP stuff that is listed as “backordered”  or temporarily out of stock but don’t actually have it. it’s also nearly impossible to get a refund if you try to buy one of those listings.
one of the absolute worst companies to buy vinyl from. all customer service is outsourced to India too.

"In the next few days, or before shipment." That is insanely poor and lazy customer service. It was their own fault that this problem occurred and they plan on inexplicably cancelling peoples' orders on a whim over the coming months? If I had ordered the deluxe I would be messaging merchnow/fearless right now.
