I feel like the sleeper record on these lists is that reissue of Herbie Hancock’s Flood. Originally released in Japan only, it’s always been hard to get in the States. I know he’s not at all popular on here, or among people under 50 for that matter, but this album is hot.

No problem. I seem to remember both of the other reissues in this campaign selling out the same day, so I didn’t want people here to miss out.

Last one I bought was a solid NM. Looked like it had never been played. It it sounded like a goddamn vacuum was running in the background for all tracks on both sides.

Anyone know where I can pre order Apollo in the states? Ive had three pressings of this over the years. All were pristine and legit, yet all had god awful surface noise. Just goes to show you that pressing defects aren’t anything new. So so pumped for this. I had a ton of nice older eno pressings before these reissues started coming out, and honestly the sound quality on these abbey road reissues is so much better. These pressings are great. I really don’t understand the hate they get from some people.

Yeah I think I was able to get one nearly ordered but tabbed away to post on this thread and check a currency converter to see how much the total cost was in USD. Glad to know I wasn’t hallucinating when I thought I was able to add the bundle to my cart and almost complete the transaction. Also so glad to know that this is a site issue and not that they just aren’t shipping to the US. I must admit I was pissed at first. Its all good. Been waiting for this shit for years. Hey guys, I know this isn’t a thread for a release or reissue, and sorry to break with the norm for this forum, but I’m really having a hell of a time finding this label’s records anywhere in the US. Superfly is a French label with spotty distribution from some distributors (like Forced Exposure, for example) but no go-to source with a good selection. Does anyone one know a good source to buy titles from this label? I’m specifically looking for their jazz reissues (in particular anything from the Strata-East label). Thanks in advance for the help.

I preordered instantly from amazon.jp and it came out to $40 per LP including shipping. I got my order in early enough that I can still cancel it if I need. If it weren’t for the option to cancel, I probably would’ve passed. I keep hoping to hear of a stateside pressing for these so I can get them for cheaper. If that happens between now and then, I’m canceling my order from Japan. I agree the price for these is crazy, but if this is my only option, I’ll bite. $40 for an import isn’t the craziest thing I’ve ever spent $40 on.

Yes, it would be a larger up front cost, but if you live State-side you will save a shit ton on combined shipping. Honestly, the shipping is the sole reason I’ve never ordered from Flightless. I’d really appreciate being able to buy all these records and spread the cost of shipping over a larger order.
