I figure we had some big threads for most of the King Gizzard releases last year and with the imminent release of reissues of the first 3 albums a actual flightless thread should be started. Looks like the following will be available.

I am cleaning up the top post on this, ill continue to update it as I know, things I find very interesting is they have the FLT-036 listing in 2 colors, that number was originally passed over as it would have been Polygondwanaland, they must have decided to make an official pressing of it, however that would possibly modify the idea that the secondary quantity is for ATO, as they already have numerous Poly pressings. I think perhaps the notion of them establishing an American store may be more feasible, but who knows. 
 
Also with 3 other albums in press and none of them yet named I would assume FLT-040 being the largest pressing number at 6000 total may be a new 2018 King Gizzard release, FLT-041 with 3 variants and 2500 total may be a new Murlocs, Pipe-eye or most likely a new ORB album, as Space Between The Planets has already been released. Lastly we have FLT-042, the new pressing with only 1000 total, I assume this will be Flightless first Amyl and the Sniffers release, as they have signed to Flightless and we have not heard anything else. What does everyone else think?!

Really nice King Gizzard collection. I'd buy, but can't offer anything close to what those early titles are selling for.

A couple of years ago the organisers ruled they are no longer allowed to participate on the day as they are technically not a "bricks and mortar" store where you can visit and browse, in their own words they are a kind of brutalist Argos for vinyl records! So  now they just get hold of whatever they can and put it up online a week later with the rest of the stores. They don't seem to be allowed to advertise anything in advance either.

Still may be worth putting in a email at Banquet. Last year I wanted something which sold out almost immediately and it was back in stock again a few days later.
Norman are putting  their stock up at 8am UK time (28th), but no clue yet as to what they have actually managed to get hold of.

I know I'm a few days later here, but just wanted to chime in on the website being wonky (I'm Bob from Colemine and Plaid Room). When we update the back end, it happens in two steps. First, all the add to cart buttons are un-hidden from this page:

This happens almost instantly, as I'm only changing the Shopify collection settings, and individual items aren't really edited.....just the way they're displayed. The second wave of updates takes me between 2-5 minutes to complete. Each item must be individually updated (changing the item template on the Shopify back end) so that it removes the text about it being an RSD item and replaces it with an add to cart button, like the button shown here:

I've received many comments/inquiries regarding the site. I was actually blown away that the site maintained, Shopify is an incredible platform. I don't remember exact numbers, but there was between 800-1200 folks on the site at 8am, and the page refreshes were something like 4,000 - 10,000 per minute. In the end, I haven't heard any complaints about crashing.....just about folks adding things to their cart that sold out before they could check out. Unfortunately, that's the nature of the platform, and I don't have any great solutions for that. In the end, we got a lot of orders from a lot of folks, and everything was listed at or below retail....so I think a lot of people got stuff they missed out on and didn't have to pay the flipper prices....and that's absolutely always my goal. :-)

RSD was awesome for me, I've been on both sides of the counter but this was my first experience managing a record store for RSD. We gave out donuts and coffee for the morning crowd, had local artists perform from open until close. Raffled off concert tickets, new cds, new and used LPs including a gold copy of the Drive soundtrack, brushes and cleaning fluid, a carrying case for 45s filled with rare 45s, some rare Linda ronstadt records (it's an inside joke unless you have been to my shop, we got a collection containing every Linda Ronstadt record or single on any format including 8 track and also variants on just about every country of release from Japan to Argentina, so we did a test pressing and an import picture sleeve and a picture disc LP for the raffle). It was humbling to see that many people having a great time and buying physical media. Sales were up a sizable amount from the previous year, so I'm beaming with pride. I oversaw all the ordering and spent countless hours prepping and it was well worth all the effort, and my staff was on point the whole time and leading up to the event, I could not have done it without them. I rewarded them with gourmet pizza. I in turn was also rewarded because at the end of the day I was still able to grab the Tim Armstrong, Dessa 7" and The Grant Green Slick set. I did snipe one thing and it was the Sundays but I had the other 2 and I was damned if I was going to miss this one but I paid sticker price.  Luckily the other local had a Bert Jansch, so all I missed out on from my list was the Gene Clark and I think I have a line on a leftover. Fantastic experience all and all but I am exhausted. 

Cool, that was from Resident Records then, was there for my annual RSD overnight queuing. When they said he'd popped in to sign their copies I almost added it to my list. Had to resist and it was already too long!

I've reached out to Bull Moose in the past to ask why they won't ship to non-US addresses and the answer was that they can't (or won't?) process non-US credit cards (for some reason??).
