Bump and schlump

Updates: need a haircut. Moved back to my parents' house. My girlfriend is one of the sweetest people I have ever met, and I'm kind if jealous that I don't get to marry her in August. (Polyamory is fun and complicated.) I've paid very few bills since the bank accounts were split. Creditors LOVE ME. I'm bored, sitting around work, waiting for my shift to start, and wondering how one place of business can have so much sportsball and violent cuddling (UFC) in one dining area. Trying to get a new job.

Girlfriend and I will be at the Columbus date. Whoo ha, got you all in check.

Eh. Happy marriages don't end in divorce. This was a long time coming. I was given a choice between someone who treated me like a human being, didn't cut me down all the time, and respected me or my wife. I couldn't keep going in that relationship in a romantic capacity anymore. It just hurt too much. But thanks.

Well, it's time. My wife and I are getting a divorce, and in order to not allow the courts to split the records among us, I've let my eventual ex take the black 1st Pressing of Sink or Swim, among other things. Since she felt fit to break up the collection, I see no problem with breaking it up further. I am keeping 3-4 copies that I find visually pleasing, but I don't want the rest. I may do this for other Gaslight records, but that will come later. Chances are high that I won't be seeing my girlfriend after work today because she'll be exhausted. So I did what any rational person would do when they're super bummed about shit: hit the gay bar. Unfortunately, I did it at last call. And rather than it being a dance club, it was more of an "old gay cheers" bar. Bartender got me a shot and I hung out to let it wear off, and I was pretty much invited back tonight and the bartender said he'd buy me a bit because I told him I didn't have shit for money. Midwest queers stickin' together, right? But then I downed an entire pint and a half of Smirnoff ice screwdriver way too fast when I got back to the house. I need to not sad drink.

I just got a job interview!!!!!!!!!! Front desk/assistant position at a veterinary clinic. 2pm tomorrow. Going to have my girlfriend doll me up so I can have a good first impression, 'cause I don't trust myself.

I really wish I could indulge in some of this sale stuff you all post. I'm either too terrified to place orders for clothes I've been wearing for a while now, or I just have no disposable income. (that I want to spend on things that aren't records, which I have very little of that, too.) My girlfriend has been either outright giving me or letting me borrow stuff of hers that fits me. She says to tell her to stop once I start feeling like a life size Barbie.

I don't even remember the last time I went swimming. Way too many body issues.
