While I'm indeed STOKED on this new Chocolate Starfish reissue the exciting part was in the comments of their IG post where they say Three Dollar Bill Yall$ is in the works.

Just posted this on their IG:
HI everyone, so it appears there was a manufacturing defect on some of the Dead Cross II vinyl. There’s a skip on the second track, that has appeared on some of the variants.
We’ve opened our copies, and there’s records that play totally fine (check out the videos), so we’re not sure where in the process this happened and how many records were affected. But it’s something we wouldn’t be aware of until the records were in your hands.
We’re working things out with our manufacturer right now, so please be patient and send us an email at [email protected] if you ended up with a bad copy, and we’ll keep you updated on replacements.
Thanks as always for your support, we unfortunately have just been struck with some bad luck here.

I mean...their confirmation email does look like something that would be sent from a potential spammer and get caught in your spam folder. The subject line looks like a run-on sentence all smooshed together.

Made it, but of course with just 1 copy. $150 and not even a sleeve. Still a pretty good line now.

So Amazon just delivered Iowa to my porch aaaaaand from the delivery photo they shipped the record in a plastic bag.
Fantastic.

Ordered it early from Amazon but once it didn't ship and the expected by date went TBD I pretty much knew I was dead in the water.

Grabbing it for the same price while out and about on RSD was the move.

Picked up both of those CDs from midnight release sales at independent shops back in the day.
Got pulled over on my way home from the Lateralus release for 'weaving in my lane'. (Really I was driving a crappy car through an 'uppity' area at 1AM) Those cops did not believe my story about a new TOOL album. Sobriety checked, breathalized then detained in a patrol car while they searched my car for over an hour before finally letting me on my way.
