DD is one of my all time favorite record stores, great guys, great prices and amazing finds. Visit there every time I get a chance to.

I would definitely check out Human Head in Brooklyn, lot's of good stuff there. As mentioned above, Generation is really good and Academy records (I think there's 2 of them).

When I was in Brussels last month, we stopped at Caroline Music and they had a Dead Again vinyl there. I got so excited, but then I saw that it was a boot. Total let down.

I have a vinyl flat, it works great. It does take some experimentation though with times and heat to get the hang of it. As long as you're cautious about the time, you won't ruin any records.
