I remember when Deep Elm proclaimed the gold would be the be all end all last pressing. They even sold the metal mother master discs used to press the vinyl . I was luckily enough to snag Side D way back then. Somehow dumb young me not only kept it, but left it in decent enough shape through the years and now it hangs as my 'vinyl mantle' centerpiece. Hope the other mothers are fairing as well.

Welp, they announced this two days after i finally procured a copies of S.C. 1.&2 after years of looking. Wonder what else is gonna be on it. Hoping theres some more as of yet unreleased early career tracks they've been hiding away.

my test press came today. i think they did a good job with remastering this. i was a bit hesitant to think their remaster was gonna sound much different from the originals, but call me pleasantly surprised on how clear and new sounding things are. the pressing is dead silent as well. so glad i was able to end up with a TP from one of my all time favorite bands all due to people posting in this thread!
