    Never thought that it was a trend or something. I use microfiber cloth too.

    Don't think it's a new idea, but I use an old wooden box that I found on a flea market. Just painted it with acrylics so it looks pretty good. But keep in mind, that my collection is not that big (for now). If I were you, I'd search through Etsy for a some fancy storage.
