I've seen noise artists do this on purpose before. Two separate holes got two different listening "experiences". Is it possible that it's something like that?

Holy shit, thanks for the heads up. I was just listening to this yesterday and kicking myself for missing out on the gold variant.

My copy arrived in Alabama last week. I didn't get a shipping notification or anything, it just showed up one day.

For what it's worth, I ordered mine direct from Stonehenge, and with shipping it only came to like $40usd. A very, very good price, in my opinion.

The ones on the tour are a clear /500, and a red /1000. $40.

Also not a fan of the "buy a bundle to get the most limited variant" thing. I get it, but I don't like it. I was okay with it this time because I wanted a shirt, but I don't like either of the designs, so I just bought the 3x7" bundle.

Anyone want a copy of the most common variant at cost + shipping?

My bad. Shouldn't have used the term "reserved seating". It's not really assigned seats per se. They block off the first 15 rows for people who buy a hotel/ticket combo through the venue. They also provide a bus to and from the venue for people who buy packages with hotel stays included. From what I've heard from friends who have gone to this venue before, this is the way to do it if you can swing it. I have to get a hotel room anyway, so it's actually not much more than I was already going to have to spend on this trip.

Okay. Got ya. I'm only about 75 miles away, and it'll be my fourth time seeing them. I'm not splurging on some sort of package deal. I'll just get there early and grab the best spot I can.

The ticket site said something about it being a "venue presale" so I'd imagine it's something to do with The Caverns, and not Sunn, specifically. I've never been there though, and didn't realize there was assigned seating, so if you come across a presale code, I'd appreciate a heads up.

That's the same as the first pressing copy that I've got. Granted, I haven't spun it in a long time, but I don't remember it sounding bad. I'll have to check it out again later.

Snagged a "silver blast" copy, looking forward to pissing off my roommate, his girlfriend, and my neighbors!

Shimmer came out as a single for this during the summer before my freshman year of high school, and this album became one of my most listened to records of the year, and one of the very few that I routinely revisit. I've been wanting a copy on vinyl for a long time but have never had the chance to snag one, so thanks for posting this.

Is it a cash grab? Yeah, sure. But, it's one that I'll happily throw $30 at. I've gotten way more than $30 worth of enjoyment out of it in the last 20 years.

I'm a giant Broadrick and, to a slightly lesser extent, Turner fanboy, and even though I own the EP, I somehow managed to not pick up a copy of this the first time around.

Ugh. Comes to more than $13USD, shipped to the states. I really don't want to pay that for a 7".

I mean, talking solely on the music, I'd much rather listen to Brand New than anything Anselmo has ever done.
