I'm out of money from buying a new bass, so going through stores would be a tease. My friend from puerto rico is actually coming with me with his...PARENTS. I've been to some concerts where the kids bring their parents but this is going to be hilarious, my only fear is that they will grab him out of the crowd once they realize what's going on haha, I'm pretty sure they've never heard lightning bolt before and they seem like those strict uptight types. Hopefully I'll be up there early, I wanted to get up front...dunno if that is a great choice yet or not...

Seeing them in less than a week

After talking to Ben from Load Records, and the Lightning Bolt represses are finally coming! No preorder as of yet and it may look like there won't be any color variants from the way he was talking to me, but you never know, maybe someone could convince him. Here is the order of repressing: Wonderful Rainbow-"in about a month it should be ready" Ride the Skies Yellow Record Hypermagic Mountain "in the fall" Also, asked him about repressing the 7"s and this is what is going to happen with those... Each will be repressed next year as 12" lps(1 for each release). I will update this thread as the story progresses with links and such. For now, keep an eye out on the load records website and make sure to go see Lightning bolt this summer!

I have been tossing up helping/putting out my self, my favorite band's album. If they say yes, was wondering if there was a place I can get like 250 pressed on like a dark blue/orange color vinyl. 1kish?

Pretty inconsistent with their colors imo, that looks like a bright orange to me, the gold they did for the remission repress actually looked golden. Still looks awesome though!

I just got my record in the mail today and already I know i'm in for a treat. The guy put his info on a "Hello my name is" card. How cute I thought... Open up the package...and BAM look at all this stuff inside! The record was well protected and looks like I got some goodies too! Contents: 1 Ride the Skies green lp 2 cardboard protectors with my name drawn on them 1 Protman disk 2 magazines pages oh some cool lookin artwork 1 Wrestling sticker 4 pack 1 sticker that says "Carz will Burn!" 1 expired coupon to save 1 dollar off nestle fun bags 1 letter explaining the shape and condition of the record 1 a thank you written on the back of a picture of 3 girls holding 3 heart bears I have never smiled this much in a while. Has anyone received a package quite like this one? (also what the heck is protman?)
