Inflation exists and the packaging on this limited run is expensive to print, not to mention shipping on their end before it even ships out to us. Then after production costs the label, artist, unoriginal vinyl, etc take a cut of the sale. I doubt anyone is getting rich off of this release. If it's not in your willingness-to-pay, don't buy it. But, some of us enjoy high-quality packaging, demos, and other bonus items. I'm excited to dive into this set and revisit an album that meant a lot to me when it was released.

The original price was $35. It's an independent pressing and the vinyl is high-quality. I'd say it's worth $45 for "Iridescent" and "Why."

I can't imagine we WON'T see a physical release at some point, it was revealed that it was mixed in 5.1 and apparently you can stream it at 5.1 but who actually has a set up for that?

I watched it in 5.1 and it was incredible! Worth finding a friend with a home theater setup to get the full experience. Hoping for a physical release down the line so I can watch it over and over again.

The US store lists the translucent pink as limited to 2,000, not 1,000. Not sure if that influences anyone's choice but wanted to give a heads up.

Lost in the Sound of Separation is a great place to start, in my opinion. It's the record I go back to most frequently, and the album the band told me they like the most when meeting them before the Rebirth Tour. It's layered, heavy, melodic, atmospheric, and experimental.
