New Chuck Ragan die cut on US Revival Tour
twelvetwenty replied to bathroommonkey's topic in Vinyl Collective Message Board
Looks like it will be at SXSW... I know the date doesn't match up but they do mention it: The Revival Tour begins its fifth year this March with a company of amazing storytellers in Ragan, Dan Andriano (Alkaline Trio, The Emergency Room), and longtime Lucero collaborator Cory Branan, Tommy Gabel (Against Me!), and renowned singer/songwriter Nathaniel Rateliff. Sponsored by Daytrotter, Paste Magazine, Ernie Ball and Brixton Clothing, The Revival Tour kicks on March 20th in Dallas, TX, making a stop at Austin’s South By Southwest Music Festival, before circling around North America including Canada, adding many surprise guests along the way. And red is just an exclusive color: In celebration of this year’s tour, SideOneDummy Records will be releasing a very limited edition die cut 7” on April 3, 2012 in the shape of a saw blade. Featuring two unreleased tracks from Chuck Ragan’s Covering Ground recording sessions (“Field Holler” and “Live By the Sword”), an exclusive red version of the vinyl will only be available with pre-order tickets for The Revival Tour. Edit: And the NY date has already sold out. Wow. -

what are the extra 2 songs?...Two of the extra songs that were released on the CD version? or completely unreleased songs? Walk Through The Darkness (between Picker and Jackson) and Sweetheart (between Chattanooga Bend and Sea Of Heartbreak). Walk Through The Darkness was on the California Burritos 7" and I'm not sure if Sweetheart was on anything else. -

The quiet offseason for the Seattle Mariners took a turn this afternoon thanks to a tweet from Miami Marlins outfielder Logan Morrison, who let go with this wowzer: “Just heard from my boy that Prince to Seattle is a done deal…” Prince Fielder? To Seattle? … Not so fast, say the Mariners. Staff writer Larry LaRue, on vacation in Southern California, called the team for comment, and it’s a simple one: Nothing’s brewing. GM Jack Zduriencik is not even in the office today, and the team’s head of media relations is on vacation for the week; two signs that the team has shut it down for the holiday. Further, MLB.com reporter Greg Johns, who covers the Mariners, tweeted the Mariners have not signed Prince Fielder. So what to make of this? Consider the source: Logan Morrison, a known loose cannon who was basically sent to the minors this season because of his love affair with social media. And, consider this: Prince – the rock star, not the chubby first baseman – played in Tacoma on Monday. And this from LoMo’s twitter account at about 2:50 p.m. : “Oh $hit, you guys thought I meant the 1B from Milwaukee. My bad. (I love all of you. Happy Holidays!)” Sounds like someone is having some fun, at the expense of Mariners fans. Read more here: http://blog.thenewstribune.com/mariners/....#storylink =cpy

Anyone Know Anything About Paranormal Shit?

I've heard people say that when you move into a new place you should "clap out the corners", though I don't really know what that means. The thing about your dog made me think that. You could also smudge the place with sage... I've had friends do that. -

I'm wondering the same thing and did not expect them to sell out as quickly as they did. If no one else answers before me, I'm seeing him in the next couple days so I'll let you know. -

Yeah. I grabbed them from him a while ago... I tried to be greedy too... Once I saw that it was /2 I asked if I could buy the other one but he said it was long gone. I can't imagine that I'll ever get rid of it... In fact, I'm always looking for the test press of the Moon Ska 7" so that I can complete the collection but I don't think that I'll ever find it.
