  13. Ive seen them twice in before in the area. Once in Billerica after Sixteen came out and no one was there. The second was in RI after FFF came out and had a great recreation. This time around just a bunch of young kids pretending to know words and screaming random things. Shooks are one of my favorite bands and it was good to seem them regardless of the crowd. Not a huge fan now of the ICC and their wicked short sets and packing a ton of bands on the bill though.
  14. i love the kickstarter idea, thought about it for a NTR release. best of luck dude!
  15. With the fest just ending and knowing alot people on here are into that Gainesville/HWM music sound, I wanted to quickly just point out this 7" that came out on NTR earlier this year. Kill Conrad are a band out of Allston, MA that play a sound that fuses together Boston Punk and that familiar Gainesville sound(think HWM, Nothington esque). There is currently a stream of the entire 7" at Punknews: http://www.punknews.org/bands/killconrad If you like what you hear, check out http://ntr.bigcartel.com to pick up a copy, they are all on random mixed vinyl. And a review from Razorcake just for fun: KILL CONRAD: “Work & Class” b/w “D.B.D.S”: 7” Hailing from Boston, it makes sense that Kill Conrad are reminiscent of later ‘80s East Coast punk, a little hardcore crust with the melody; it’s got the beat, got the tight energy that keeps you listening. Just recreating that sound without the trying too hard feeling is admirable. Two titles, two 7”s in one? Five cool songs. Plus, not enough bands write punk rock anthems about Peter North and David Schwimmer anymore. Put this on your mix tape and skate to the bowl. –Speedway Randy (Neutral Territory, neutralterritoryrecords.com)
  16. RJ, Its corey from NTR. All i can say is WOW. Congrats dude. This is awesome for you. Ive looked up to your label since i started NTR. This is just exciting news for all the DIY labels out there. Keep it up man. (And "it" is in the mail, quickly followed by the other part)
  17. wow, didnt know there was a test of the FB/FB 7" floating around. Awesome. You ever get the copies of the Kill Conrad 7"?
  18. Hey everyone, We have some discounted prices and a summer sale going on in the NTR Store/Distro. If you are a fan of HWM, NMB or any of the bands on the No Idea! catalog check out Kill Conrad's debut 7".... Use code " Summer09 " to get 15% off your order (even pre order) now at our store. http://ntr.bigcartel.com Lastly, follow us on Twitter: http://www.twitter.com/NTRrecords Thank You, NTR www.myspace.com/killconrad www.myspace.com/troublemakernj www.myspace.com/pitfallhardcore
  19. I was trying hard to not get involved in this thread but I have to. I run a small DIY label myself and I know what a pain in the ass geting a single 7" record can be. Record Plants are backed up weeks to even months these days and everything that can go wrong, usually does. And to the people who say dont do a pre order, well sometimes a label needs to in order to help fund the actual release( i know the counter agrument will be "well dont have a label if you dont have money", we are trying our best to invest in bands and do something we love, sometimes money can be tight). Most of us run these labels ontop of our daily lives so things can be very hectic, we try our best to update each customer and take care of each customer. I know Jeff would agree with me on this and he appreciates everyones patience to this point, he is not trying to rip anyone off. The 7" will come and you will surely enjoy it once it arrives in your hands. I support Jeff and RFC, his label has blown up in the last year with the talent he has signed, so keep it up.
  20. new track up at the TM myspace. VC will be getting a test press contest for this release, check this band out!
